Für mich als Kurdin, als Jesidin, als Angehörige einer Minderheit, die im Nahen Osten beheimatet ist und von Islamisten verfolgt wird, ist es schwer erträglich, zwei Männern zuzuhören, die über unsere Köpfe hinweg reden, als gäbe es uns nicht. Wir sind nur Verhandlungsmasse. Al-Scharaa hat sich also mit den KurdInnen „geeinigt“. Die Wahrheit ist, dass es einen Diktatfrieden gab zwischen Damaskus und der Führung in Rojava, auf den sich die Führung in Rojava einließ, um einen Genozid zu verhindern. #AlScharaa ist außerdem vertragsbrüchig: Die YPJ, die Fraueneinheiten der SDF die 2018 maßgeblich zum Sieg über den IS beigetragen haben, sollen nun doch nicht in die Armee überführt werden – das war jedoch eines der Kernanliegen der Autonomen Administration. Zurzeit sieht es ohnehin mehr danach aus, also würde Syrien ein zweites Taliban-Afghanistan werden, was den Spielraum von Frauen angeht. Des weiteren wird die Provinz As-Suweida noch immer von den Regierungstruppen belagert. An den Checkpoints der HTS werden DrusInnen gekidnappt. Super rechtsstaatlich! Ich sehe die Bilder von Ahmad Al Sharaa alias Jolani, dem Interim Präsidenten von Syrien, wie er dem Bundespräsidenten die Hand schüttelt und mit großem Empfang hofiert wird. Und gleichzeitig sehe ich vor meinem inneren Auge die vielen Frauen, die eingesperrt, vergewaltigt wurden, deren Brüder, Väter und Männer getötet wurden. Ich denke an Eziden, Christen, Drusen, Alawiten und Kurden, die durch die Straßen gejagt, in ihren Häusern verbrannt oder einfach erschossen wurden. Es sind keine abstrakten Geschichten; es sind die Erzählungen von Menschen, die ich in unzähligen Gesprächen persönlich gehört habe. Wie soll man sich dabei fühlen? Oder darf man überhaupt noch fühlen? Wie weit darf Interessenpolitik gehen? Kann politische Notwendigkeit solche Gräueltaten relativieren? Und was bedeutet es für uns, wenn wir gleichzeitig von Menschenrechten, Völkerrecht und Demokratie sprechen? Und wenn ich von den großen politischen Strategen als naiv bezeichnet werde, dann bin ich es gern, denn Menschlichkeit, Erinnerung und Mitgefühl dürfen niemals naiv sein.
