People have accused me of scaremongering about meningitis, which is really weird, because I haven't at any point said that I think this is going to spread wildly across the country.
I just said that I thought we'd get more cases this winter, and we did.

I'm just a bird, so my opinion isn't that important, but I don't think there's going to be a massive plague of meningitis B here. I think more people are more susceptible to it because many of their immune systems have been damaged by covid infections, so there'll be *more* of it. Not an infinite amount more, just more than we used to have. But that's bad enough.
