Asked grok what percetnage of the working population in 2026 can afford to buy a house for the first time comapred to prior generations. The answer was close to 70% less people compared to generations prior. This number might be low. American dream could not be more dead. I have friends that make 150k per year that could not remotely sniff homeownership in the state I live in unless you are willing to buy something that could potentially fall on you in your sleep. This country is dying a slow and painful death.
