@CorrineGunning What’s absurd (and unjust and a waste of tax dollars etc.) is that thousands of people were denied jail credit for 45 years.

@CorrineGunning Yesterday the Senate Judiciary contingent offered a “crime bill” bundle and one was an unprecedented registration obligation. Guess they didn’t get the memo that registration is a “civil regulatory scheme” or maybe they are just being honest (because this is undeniably punitive)

It is perfectly acceptable to begin a sentence with ‘and.’
And it’s equally acceptable to begin a sentence with ‘but’ or ‘or.’

@ERBrandt I just googled it and the results seem to be the average debt for law school is over $110,000. I also saw this at credible.com/statistics/ave…. Note that the starting salary for a new attorney at BIDS is less than half the median cited here.
