@odognine2 in the same vein as the michkov take, Chakya was 26 in a terrible organization when he was hired. I probably would’ve been an idiot too trying to fight against that ownership. I’d like to think at 36, I had grown and would handle things differently now. Maybe?

The guy knows hockey, played in an era where hockey was heavier, which is what you need to win in the playoffs. But also has a good handle on analytics. I hope he gets an interview

If I'm Keith Pelley, I would seriously consider hiring @mike_p_johnson as the next President of the Leafs. Incredibly smart, knowledgeable hockey guy, former Leaf, media savvy, and very articulate. He would find the right GM and coach and could connect with the players.

@CanadasLeafs Both are accurate. Marners skill game is great with time and space. That disappears in tight games like in the Olympics or games 5-7. In 3 on 3, whether it’s a big game or not, the time and space is given back to him. What his play during regulation, especially his board play oof
