Over the past five years, the price of Bitcoin is up by just 12%. Over the same time period, the NASDAQ is up 57.4%, the S&P 500 is up 59.4%, gold is up 163%, and silver is up 181%. If the appeal of Bitcoin is its superior long-term performance, why should anyone keep HODLing it?

I just went through Elon Musk's page. No word on the Artemis II crew's Moon landing or their beautiful Earth shots. If this was done by SpaceX, he would have been talking about it nonstop. The guy is petty. Come on, celebrate a good thing even if it not done by your company.

I don’t think there’s anything wrong with holding $IBIT instead of actual $BTC for the average person. It’s unrealistic to expect everyone to be technically savvy enough to buy Bitcoin on chain and move it to cold storage. There’s virtually zero chance the average investor is going to do that. Most people struggle to remember their online banking password, let alone securely manage a seed phrase for a cold wallet. Think about it for literally 60 seconds, and you'll come to the same conclusion.

@Alleninvests Agree 💯 take the 401k match at work put it into the S&P 500 then max out your Roth with $VOO but for your brokerage account pick a basket (5-8) of high quality company’s and 1-5% $BTC

Stop telling beginners to pick stocks. $VOO has outperformed $TSLA over 5 years. Build the foundation first.

@JimmyBitcoins @SCHDETF Brother it would be a 0-20% tax on capital gains depending how much you sell each year and your income level. VOO will still outperform

I obviously love $SCHD, but personally I wouldn’t go 100% in. $SCHD leans into value stocks, and there will be stretches where value underperforms. That’s just part of market cycles. That’s why I like pairing it with something that leans more into growth. It creates a balanced approach because there will also be periods where growth struggles and value holds up better. It also helps psychologically. When one side of your portfolio is lagging, the other is usually doing its job. That makes it a lot easier to stay disciplined and keep investing instead of second guessing your strategy. You don’t have to pick one. Let them complement each other. Just my opinion. Only you know what works best for you.

@HeroDividend 💯 $VOO and Chill. One should mix in 5% $BTC for a little heart beat. I’m OCD and $VOO moves at a snails pace I just can’t do it.

🤔 10 years dead ☠️ money 26 PE for zero growth -35% EPS -50% Profits. I think our ideas of fantastic company are different. I have 6 Y/Z kids none have ever asked for $NKE for Xmas or Birthday. I haven’t bought $NKE in at least 5 years. Throw in terrible business decisions and Chinese counterfeiting this company is toast.

@JimmyBitcoins @HolySmokas Because its still a fantastic company, pays a decent dividend, is secure and given time will come back. In a crazy world like now better to stick with what you have and batton down the hatches for a while. Trading should be long term game.
