Oh yes, I’m sure you were personally present for every phone call, meeting, and editorial decision that happened at the time. It’s impressive how confidently people on the internet speak about situations they weren’t involved in. There could be a dozen reasons why someone did or didn’t take an interview timing, legal advice, editorial choices, or simply deciding to cover it later. But somehow you’ve narrowed it down with absolute certainty. Truly remarkable investigative work.

@ourx_vault @DoctorTurtleboy @IanRunkle Journalists rely on sources. If this were such an easy story, someone else would have broken it. Most media today just repeats talking points. Few would keep going with state police boot on their neck, but Aidan did. That is why he deserves a Pulitzer. Bravery.

“Pulitzer for what?” Probably for doing independent journalism while larger outlets were still repeating official statements without asking many questions. Independent reporters often bring attention to details others initially overlook, that’s part of journalism. Saying Karen “chose him” or spoke with him doesn’t mean he wasn’t doing journalism. Sources speak to journalists all the time. That’s literally how reporting works. You may believe he was an advocate instead of a journalist. Many others believe his reporting helped bring attention to aspects of the case that might not have received the same level of scrutiny otherwise. As for the speculation about money and a car, even you admitted you “can’t say for sure,” which usually means it’s speculation. People’s finances are rarely as simple as strangers on the internet pretend they are. And the “high school dropouts” comment says more about your intelligence, than the people you’re trying to insult. Disagreeing with someone doesn’t make their supporters uneducated. Also, the Karen Read case is over. Yet you’re still writing paragraphs about Aiden. That level of attention suggests he’s having more impact than you might want to admit. Hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition… Galatians 5:19–21

Pulitzer for what? That's a serious question. What journalism do you think he did in this case? Karen chose him. She had a couple of days to convince him. And once he decided to take on her cause, he never did any journalism after that, he just kept reporting what she TOLD him to report. That's crystal clear in the messages. Maybe he's done journalism in the past. But there was literally zero journalism involved in his work with Karen. Frankly, it's stunning to me that even FKR people might think that. Aidan was an advocate, not a journalist. Whether he was compensated in anyway, we can't say for sure, though he did buy a brand new Lexus with cash weeks after Karen first called him. Regardless, he certainly has made hundreds of thousands of dollars peddling this conspiracy to high school dropouts.

@riskythinking, Looking at your feed, I can see why someone might think you’re Meredith at first. The obsession with trying to narrate Aiden’s finances sounds very familiar. Then I saw your posts supporting Kelsey Fitzsimmons, and Meredith has made it pretty clear how she feels about her. Either way, your attempt to shame people for supporting him isn’t going to work. You have no idea what his legal expenses actually are. The case hasn’t even started yet and won’t until the end of the year, and attorneys charge hourly and have travel expenses. People are free to support whoever they want. And being in a legal fight doesn’t mean someone has to sit inside staring at four walls and stop living their life.

This week showed how easy it is to get a temporary restraining order based on one side of the story. Pretty audacious, given the mounting evidence of Meredith’s unhinged online behavior. Just another tactic in her crusade to stay relevant. 💁🏼‍♀️

@Jobell74 @queen__valerie_ His legal bills have been fully paid for & far more. Any money you raise is going to his next Celtics game or fancy car he ends up crashing because he was "tired". Throwing around the word cult every time someone disagrees with you just shows you don’t actually know what it means. Cult behavior involves control, isolation from outside information, punishing people for questioning leadership, and demanding total loyalty. Last I checked, I haven’t had to sign over my paycheck, I’m not isolated from outside opinions, and I still voice my own thoughts about everything. That’s kind of the opposite of being controlled. What you’re describing sounds a lot more like smear campaigns and divide-and-conquer tactics, not a cult. People voluntarily supporting someone’s legal defense and discussing a public case online is called free speech and free choice. You should probably learn the difference.

@FreeDom1284306 @queen__valerie_ If supporting someone’s right to defend themselves in court makes me “sick,” I’m perfectly fine with that. What I won’t do is join the crowd spreading hatred, lies, and division. The real sickness is the level of hatred some of you seem to have.

First off, it’s none of your business how he buys a home or manages his finances. You’re making assumptions about something you know absolutely nothing about. Secondly, I guarantee you and many others criticizing him have no problem supporting Meredith. The difference is we’re not backing down. People are still raising money to support Aiden’s defense because we believe in standing up for what’s right.

What bothers me the most is how casually some people treat protection orders. Back in 2003 when I had to get one, it was incredibly difficult. I had photos, written threats, hospital reports, emails, witnesses, and the man completely embarrassed himself in front of the judge. Even with all that evidence it was still a process. I ended up with a lifetime order, which in Florida is not easy to obtain. So watching someone treat these protections like a strategy or a storyline is honestly insulting to real survivors. KP, knows exactly who it is, and probably told her to get one! She really needs her order violated.

I understand the antiquated notions.. And due to the flaws in this case, I now disagree with that standard. It doesn’t make me a bad person, it makes me someone willing to change. Amend means to change, improve or correct. I think in 2026 we can entertain possibly amending some of our approaches and one of those is that EVER defendant should have to testify. I actually just found out that world renowned attorney Michael Jaafar believes the same thing. I’ve never heard many people say it publicly, but he’s one person that doesn’t mind expressing his opinion. If things don’t change, they stay the same. The system is broken, it’s time to fix it. Defendants testifying is a reasonable start, also, removing reasonable doubt should be looked at as well. Reasonable doubt is COMICAL if you remove your bias because YOU ARE BIASED and it is solely because it’s the only system you’ve known. It’s hilariously flawed, like, pure comedy that we came up with that as a society and people actually thought it was intelligent.
Navy Pearl 🇺🇸@Jobell74

Honestly, the kind of person, who speaks like this is someone who values their personal opinion over constitutional protections. Or, maybe you just don’t understand. Reasonable doubt and the right not to testify exist for a reason. It’s to prevent the government from forcing confessions or convicting people without solid proof. Those protections apply to everyone, even people you don’t like.

If you actually read my comment, you would have seen that I already addressed that. The Constitution includes amendments for a reason. The word amend literally means to change or improve. I also said that just because some people believe defendants should have to testify doesn’t automatically make it the right approach. There are legal scholars who have debated this for years. That doesn’t mean they’re correct, and it doesn’t mean the current system is wrong either. It means the issue has been discussed and analyzed by serious legal minds. At this point it feels like you’re responding to what you think I said rather than what I actually wrote. You’re entitled to your opinion, even if I respectfully disagree. The Constitution itself includes amendments because the founders understood that laws and ideas would continue to be debated and refined over time. That said, I don’t see the Fifth Amendment ever being removed, and for good reason. It exists to protect the rights of the accused and ensure the burden of proof always remains on the government. Hopefully, you never find yourself on the wrong of law. Good luck!

The constitution has Amendments. Again, the word Amend means to Change, Improve etc etc…. I am not the only person that believes Defendants should have to testify, people who have studied law their whole lives believe it to. Doesn’t make us right, but it doesn’t make the current format right either.

If someone believes defendants should be forced to testify or punished for staying silent, systems like that already exist in places like the UK, Singapore, and China. The United States intentionally chose a different system where the burden is on the government to prove guilt. That isn’t a flaw in the system. It’s one of the protections built into it. Have a nice day!

You’re comparing reasonable doubt to slavery? That comparison alone shows a serious misunderstanding of both history and the Constitution. 🤔 Reasonable doubt exists so the government cannot take someone’s freedom without proving guilt beyond speculation. It protects every citizen, including you. And the claim that John “gave in” to Karen that night is not supported by the trial testimony. Evidence showed they planned to meet because he needed a ride after being dropped off at the bar. You can have opinions, but they shouldn’t replace facts.

No… John gave in to Karen Read that night, he clearly did not want to be bothered by her. You’re way off I saw every moment of both trials, and I personally know people on both sides of this issue. Reasonable doubt is antiquated and it has been extremely exposed in this case. Slavery was the backbone of America for YEARS as well…. Things change.

I love how every person on the Karen Read is guilty train believe that Kelsey should be found guilty as well. No independent thought whatsoever. Any opinion on any topic from FKR, the guilters will roll with the opposite opinion. It’s very strange, robotic, NPC like behavior.
