There are so many Platner red flags, that even me, someone who is highly attuned to them keeps discovering new ones. From the new NYT piece, he apparently got a DUI and his explanation was 'uhh actually I was hit by a drunk driver (while also being a drunk driver).' Seems legit.

If two Apache helicopters flew over a protest against Joe Biden, the entire media would have melted down, but since it was done during a No Kings rally, it's 1) not even the lead part of the story and 2) written off as "purely coincidental" and will never be heard of again🙃

To think, in an alternative universe, Bernie Sanders has already concluded his second term as President. The Green New Deal created jobs and helped tackle the climate emergency, healthcare is more accessible, wages are higher, wealth inequality reduced.. What could have been.

It is functionally impossible to remove a sitting president. Even more so for this one, who has a literal cult behind him and was given full immunity by the Supreme Court. Our only option was to stop him beforehand but many of us were mocked for suggesting such a thing.

2016 was the most absurd and consequential election. Hillary tarred for crime bill that Bernie voted for. Trump recovered from p*ssy comments but we are still talking about “deplorables.” Within months, Trump officials caught using personal email accounts, media no longer cared.

I think people having the drive to go to the No Kings protest is commendable however I think that "No Kings" is really just antiquated and dated. A protest with that name and that purpose would have worked and the early 1900s or 1800s. It should have been the No Capitalists protest and had a list of demands AND concrete consequences if those demands weren't met. Then those consequences will be carried out without hesitation. That would have been better.

Very few of those miles were from the city and should not be credited to the city.
GDOT, Midtown Alliance, & UWCID build as the city in large has not.
If anything, that’s damning of the city’s ability to deliver.
While getting better, true mileage comps are pitiful.
