I'll ask this question again :-- Why does the British tax payer have to pay for the four burnt out ambulances? They have to be insured by law so why isn't the insurance company coughing up?

More snow for Britain at the end of March. But Dr David Viner of the discredited Climatic Research Unit at the “University of East Anglia” said - in 2000 - snow would be so rare “children just aren’t going to know what snow is.” Poor David.

UK gas is four times the cost of US gas. There is no world price for gas by pipe. Domestic gas down a pipe is cheaper than imported liquefied gas. Why can’t BBC interviewers and government Ministers understand that?

@Jenny_1884 I remember palm oil coming out rather well on some scale of toxic harm. It may be more of an environmental objection to harvesting palm oil.

Has anyone else started checking the ingredients of products that they are buying nowadays especially if it has palm oil in which is supposedly bad for us?
It’s a real eye opener what is being put in our food.

@Sam1hqy @toadmeister Theyre 'certified' for a certain number of years from manufacture. They have been for many years but the older ones used to last longer, than modern plastics.
Just refuse to have a smart meter,bmaking the problem of replacing an old one theirs, not yours.

Why should they receive penalties for not installing smart meters if customers don’t want them?
Why isn’t government offering incentives to take a smart meter like they offer incentives to buy an EV?

@sergeslothrop @TobinMcjiggles @Laiseran @ukhwini @Unpop_Science Where did all the buried tree roots on Rannoch Moor come from and the few trees that are left isolated on islands like on Loch Ossian and Loch Con.
Photos show trees used to be dense up to 550m on Craig Var a Rocky outcrop at the East end of Loch Rannoch, before being harvested.
