He’s the President of the United States. The most powerful man in the world juggling international crises, negotiations, and leading the country. He probably posted it on a whim without much thought and meant no harm.
I’m glad he took it down once he realized it was a mistake.

@IsaiahINRI I’ve never been to an eastern Catholic Church and I missed half of the Mass because I didn’t know where to park plus traffic was worse than I expected

@Joe_d_08 Hmmm, hard to say, I don't think you went to an Eastern Rite then. Maybe look up a Maronite or Chaldean Mass and see if they fit your description. AFAIK both start with prayers in front of the altar before moving to the lectern for the introductory rites sooo

@tcw_blog1 The different words might be because it’s in a different diocese but idk how that works (I literally only go to my local parish lol)

@tcw_blog1 I missed half of it because I am unfamiliar with the area and couldn’t find a parking spot, but basically it seemed like a normal NO but the priest said different words (all in English) but the main difference is that the art and the Crucifix looked Eastern.
