Michigan got the wake-up call. That was a much better effort in the second half. The offense was great tonight. Felt like they picked up the intensity in the second half. Wasn’t a thing of beauty, but win and advance. Keep finding a way.

@JordanStrack A 16 scored 30 from 3s in a half; a team whose season high is 12. They played variance ball and won, the defense wasn’t great but it was far from pathetic. That Howard squad was out of their mind

@GarberBlake14 Not even close. Hutch beat Ohio State. Won the Big Ten Went to the playoff. 2nd in heisman voting. Thornton couldn’t even earn first team all big ten. That’s not close to the same.

How do you view Bruce Thornton’s Ohio State career? How will he be remembered?
He scored a ton for some really bad/average teams. He never won anything. Went 1-6 vs. Michigan.
A good player but a very complicated legacy. Is there a football comp?

@CdFires lol what are you talking about? My best friends who are Ohio State grads literally brought up. Get a grip man. Not everything is attacking you. The whole point is literally exactly what you said. All-time leading scorer who never won a single big game. That’s a weird legacy.

This is such a stupid question from Michigan homers.
He was one of the best guards to suit up for Ohio State for 4 years and got stuck playing on some really below average teams for mediocre at best coaching. The individual play? All time elite for the scarlet and gray.
