Hassett lies his ass off: "Almost all of the job creation that happened under President Biden was the employment of illegal aliens"

Axelrod: There are a lot of people who would like you to run for president in 2028. And there are others who would like you to run for the senate. AOC: In this op-ed that Bezos paid for in The Washington Post, there was a veiled threat—it was the elite saying if you want this job, you just stepped out of line. What’s funny about that is they assume my ambition is positional. They assume my ambition is a title or a seat. My ambition is way bigger than that. My ambition is to change this country. Presidents come and go, elected officials come and go, single payer healthcare is forever.

"[Harris] is signaling privately that she has more to say about the Middle East now that she is freed from the Biden White House policy, this person said, adding that she is likely to do so after the midterm elections" nbcnews.com/politics/2028-…

Prof. @stone_geoffrey via @nytimes: "If those justices had been aware then of what we now face, my guess is that we would have had the opposite result. They weren’t imagining the current world.” nytimes.com/2026/05/06/us/…

NEW: With voting rights ruling unleashing mad pre-election scramble, Chief Justice John Roberts insists #SCOTUS isn't 'purely political' & he urges those who attack judges personally to be 'more careful.' He also wants to fix oral arguments going too long politico.com/news/2026/05/0…

JUST IN: ProPublica and @CTMirror’s “On the Hook” series, which exposed how Connecticut laws had come to favor towing companies at the expense of low-income residents, has won the Pulitzer Prize for Local Reporting. It’s ProPublica’s ninth Pulitzer Prize.

Jon Favreau questions DNC Chair Ken Martin on why he won't release the DNC's autopsy on the 2024 election.

Trump is about to hit REM on camera during an Oval Office event. It's just incredible.

I literally don’t know a single adult person who doesn’t find modern life periodically exhausting. The onslaught of screaming voices vying for your attention on social, the forcible interface with bad tech (hello call bots and website AI assistants), the demands to adapt or die (maybe literally in some cases because you’ll get fired if you don’t and lose your health insurance), the lack of basic social decency in public spaces (I’m guilty of this too). I could go on. I’m not a Luddite, but some days I’m just overwhelmed by all the demands made on my processing skills. How do YOU cope? LMK.
