I have been dragged many times for demanding veteran disability fraud be dealt with. They say dumb shit like “we wrote a blank check to our nation and are just collecting a small token in return” and that I “just doesn’t get it”. Then I share I am a veteran that has documented hearing loss, digestion issues, persistent eczema and vocal changes from chemical burns, and a few other issues documented in my military medical records, and I do not receive or seek any disability. I am told I should “get on that” because I “earned the compensation”. This philosophy and the fomo it permeates in even the most honorable cultures will be a contribution to these checks never coming in at some point in the future.

I am begging someone, anyone to clean up the disability fraud in the VA. This guy was a Navy reservist who went to school for the Government and got out after 2 years with disability benefits for anxiety and depression. This has to end.
