It was the same game that Finn copped his serious injury and took no further part in the season. I don’t think the issue is that Finn can’t tag…it’s that Sam prefers not to tag as a first option strategy (recently).

😡 Scrimshaw and Gunston should return. I expect there will be one more change. McCabe will be unlucky. One of Dalton or Maginness will come in. What changes would you make this week @HawksInsiders?

@SprintsUp17478 @JustinHawks @HawksInsiders I’d be surprised if Butler was dropped. He’s a very important role player in the side. His numbers are low because he is currently being used as a defensive midfielder. He’s also the second best tackler in the team just behind Nash.

Weddle’s ball use/decision making was a train wreck. I reckon he moves past this one pretty quickly. Sammy Butler nullified Butters after half time quite well. Butters is a star, was always going to get the footy but I felt his effectiveness went away late and JHF took over

CBAs V Port 📊 Things to note = - Nash led CBAs for the first time this season. He and Newcombe clearly dominated CBA numbers. - 1st Quarter dominance where we had 7 out of our 11 clearances also had 8 go through the rotation - still ran 7 through in 2nd quarter when we lost dominance. - Butler went in for 3rd qrt to quell Butters (appears to be at Ward’s expense) and as Mitchell said 3/4 time the decision was made to go head to head. - Ward had quieter game yet had 2 CC - last qrt one was significant. Causation or coincidence question - Reeves’ CBAs aligned with 10 goals. 1st qrt. was significant part of this, so was interesting that Meek started 2nd qrt.
