Lijkt er op dat Microsoft niet goed heeft uitgezocht of je abonnement wel in één keer zo veel mag verhogen. In EU kan dat blijkbaar niet. Sommigen zien nu oude prijs weer, andere blijven nieuwe, verhoogde, bedrag betalen. Is dit domheid of teken dat beslissing opeens is genomen?

Xbox is sending out emails reverting "aspects" of the Game Pass price increase for people living in the EU (due to EU consumer protection). “At this time, these increases will only affect new purchases and will NOT affect your current subscription for the mark in which you reside, as long as you are on an auto-recurring plan. Should you choose to cancel your plan and repurchase, you will be charged at the new current rate.” As long as you haven't cancelled/switched off "auto-renew", then you'll keep the old Game Pass price. This won't help people who have already cancelled their subscriptions. Did you get an email like this?
