Feeding ducks bread seems harmless. It isn't. Bread causes a condition called "angel wing", a developmental deformity where the wings grow twisted and permanently outward. The duck can never fly again. It's irreversible, and it's almost entirely caused by humans feeding waterfowl high-carb foods during their growth. The ducks that come running when you show up with a loaf are also the ducks most likely to become dependent, malnourished, and unable to survive winter. Peas. Corn. Oats. Lettuce. They'll still come running. Or don't feed them at all! they can find their own food.

You haven't really lived until you've had to push a car with a dead battery, jump in, throw it in 1st gear, and pop the clutch like a pro. Old-school struggles and unforgettable memories.

The Knights Templar were founded in the 12th century to protect Christian pilgrims in the Holy Land. They had established a base in London by the 1140s and created a church that remains today as the Temple Church.

This stopped me in my tracks. On a quiet roadside in Virginia… they remembered. Not with lights. Not with crowds. But with a cross… and the weight of what it meant. He was mocked. Beaten. Nailed to wood He created… And still—He chose to stay. For us. For every mistake. Every failure. Every moment we thought we were too far gone. “It is finished.” Not the end… but the beginning of mercy. In a world that forgets so quickly… there are still people who remember the price He paid. And it still matters. It always will. ❤️ Have we forgotten… or do we still understand what He did for us?

I don’t know whose idea it was to do The Passion Of Jesus in London Trafalgar Square on Good Friday, but I’d like to shake their hand. Whether you’re religious or not, there are many demonstrations that go on there, but a demonstration of love is a lot nicer than the usual ones.

The fish symbol used by early Christians is called the Ichthys. In Greek it spells ΙΧΘΥΣ (Ichthys), meaning “fish,” but the letters also form an acronym: Iēsous - Jesus Christos - Christ Theou Huios - Son of God Sōtēr - Savior. In the early church, believers often used this symbol as a way to identify fellow Christians.

This is called the Oniscidae. You may find them under a brick or a damp object. You may have felt disgusted and wondered why they exist in nature. Well, let me tell you, the oniscdae, better known as cochineal, is a subgroup of isopod crustaceans whose function is to remove harmful heavy metals from the earth such as mercury, cadmium and lead. They contribute to the cleansing of soil and groundwter to reaffirm the wisdom of nature. Do not damage them or spray pesticides!
