Israel must be destroyed. Destroyed like the Nazis were destroyed. Their leadership convicted and hung. Their ideology rooted out and eradicated. Brutalized to the point that ever trying it again becomes unthinkable. Burn it down and salt the earth.

@BaluGorade It may not be just AI. Corps just are greedy and would lay off for short-term gains, too.

Amazon and TCS laid off 30k each. Oracle is also laying off 30k. If AI is taking jobs, it won't be limited to IT and tech. Do you still think your job is safe?

@CleverlyChic Who said it's the best career path? Certainly not in India when most work for service based orgs. It's just glorified and glamorized with big numbers. The reality is far away.

So many layoffs happening, India should immediately make severance pay tax free. It is ethically, morally, financially wrong to tax someone who is at their worst possible stage of life after job loss. If you can't support your taxpayers directly, atleast don't punish them.

@Pran10000 @prahladraj85 @NamitaJaiHind There is uncertainty industry wide, and not many are hiring. Even if they do, it is mostly short-term. Absorbing 12k people would be difficult in the current situation. This is not the end, there might be more layoffs in the upcoming weeks.

People who get laid off after 25 yrs experience will still have money/ investments. Oracle has just laid off middle management ppl in the 10-15 yrs experience bracket. Typically this segment has young / older kids, EMIs and expenses. Everyone may not be so well off, 40% Indians are laid off. Tax on severance pay should not be there.

Tech guys are the highest paid in the country. Have been fortunate enough to earn in lacs. Priority should have been to save & not overspend..Both my uncle's after 25+ yrs got laid off...took retirement at 50...saved loads of money incl land, jewels,MFs etc etc .

The strait was open. He starts a war. The strait closes. The world economy gets fucked. He doesn’t know what he’s doing, he gets bored, he declares victory, and he tells the rest of the world to open the strait, to clean up his mess. He’s such a prick. He’s such a destructive prick.

Let me get this straight… Palantir now controls: – 30+ federal agencies – DHS-wide data fusion – Health surveillance infrastructure – Master list database of all Americans – Law‑enforcement “precrime” intelligence And now the Pentagon is making Palantir AI its core military system. One company... Running government. Running the military. Running surveillance on all of us. What could possibly go wrong?

📍😢A poorly maintained bus crushed a 2 year old child and injured others. Unfortunately, people have lost hope of a decent quality of life. If public transport were checked at par of European standards, 90% of Govt buses would be off the roads.

Bengaluru Citizens Stage "Scream" Protest Against Urban Planning Failures Bengaluru #Greenpeace India, together with a coalition of civil society groups under the #BengaluruRising campaign, staged city-wide demonstrations on #AprilFool’s Day to highlight the irony of modern planning failures in India’s high-tech capital. A collective "Scream" echoed across #Bengaluru as citizens protested what they termed the "absurdity" of the city’s current urban development trajectory. Amruta S.N., Climate and Energy Campaigner at Greenpeace India, described "Stupid Projects" as those plagued by massive delays, outrageous cost escalations and a fundamental failure to solve the problems they were originally designed to address. In the lead-up to the #GBA elections, the campaign is urging candidates to engage with these concerns rather than allowing the city to descend into further logistical chaos. The "Scream" interventions drew attention to three sites emblematic of infrastructure stagnation. At the Rajarajeshwari Nagar Arch Flyover, residents protested a project delayed for more than four years. At the Dommasandra flyover, the delay has stretched to nearly six years, disrupting daily life without delivering relief. Meanwhile, at the defunct Mysore Lamps factory, activists opposed a proposal to replace a dense, forest-like urban canopy with a convention center, raising urgent questions about ecological preservation versus large-scale concrete development. The campaign follows months of "Imaginariums" , innovative workshops with students, professionals and residents, designed to capture the divide between official priorities and public needs. By launching these actions on April 1st, activists underscored the irony of a global tech hub relying on outdated, mid-20th-century urban planning models. @greenpeaceindia @Greenpeace @GBA_office @BDAOfficialGok @DKShivakumar
