The faces that make the world go round and compassion flow freely. We celebrate our women today.

Today we celebrate the strength, courage and achievements of women across Kenya. It is only when we share opportunities, support one another, and work together that we create abundance for every woman. But today is also a reminder that many women still face abuse, injustice and discrimination. We must stand up for their rights, protect their dignity and take real action to ensure every woman and girl is safe, respected and able to pursue her dreams. When women rise, Kenya rises. Happy International Women’s Day to all our women. We love and cherish you.

Sunday Sermon - Genesis 8:1: 
“But God remembered Noah and all the wild animals and the livestock that were with him in the ark, and He sent a wind over the earth, and the waters receded.” On this Sunday, our hearts go out to the families who have lost loved ones, homes, and livelihoods due to the devastating floods. We stand in prayer and solidarity with every family facing loss and uncertainty.

CONDOLENCE MESSAGE It is indeed a deeply sad evening for Kenya, and especially for the people of Emurua Dikirr, following the passing of my friend and compatriot, Hon. Johanna Ngeno. If there was a paragon of courage and conviction, then it was Hon. Ngeno. He was a rare breed of leader who said what he meant and meant what he said. He spoke his mind with clarity and stood firmly by his word. When it came to defending his constituents, he never wavered. Whether you agreed with him or not, his sincerity or boldness was unquestionable. As a young and fiery legislator, Hon. Ngeno had his whole life ahead of him. Yet, as is the destiny of every mortal soul, Hon. Johanna Ngong Ngeno Ole Kisiara has gone before us. We pray that the Almighty grants strength and comfort to his family, led by his wife, Mama Nayianoi Ntutu, as well as the family of the other victims of the crash during this painful time. On behalf of the Moi family and the entire KANU fraternity, we extend our heartfelt condolences to his family, friends, and the people of Emurua Dikirr. Hon. Gideon Moi National Chairman - KANU.

In tandem with the KANU Youth Congress - Kericho branch, we convened a branch strengthening forum to deepen the understanding of party structures in preparation for the 2027 elections. This forms part of CMD’s ongoing project to strengthen youth-led initiatives.

We hosted @WFD_Democracy, led by Susan Cunningham, Senior Program Manager – Africa, for a courtesy visit to our Party Headquarters to review partnered projects and programs, assess progress, and discuss future partnerships. We reaffirm our appreciation for our valued partners.

We welcome young leaders from Marsabit and Isiolo Counties who have expressed interest in vying on our party ticket in the upcoming elections. As a party, we remain committed to providing young people with a platform to actively participate in politics. The engagement was attended by National Elections Board Chair Mr. Kivuvani Eddie, Executive Director Arnold Otieno, and Youth Congress Chairperson Chibeka Matara.

The KANU Youth Congress in tandem with @oslocenter begins a targeted cascade training in a chain of leadership development, starting with training Tots. The trained trainers will, in turn, carry the cascade forward, expanding capacity across the grassroots in preparation of the 2027 elections.
