Lots of angry @UKLabour supporters telling me @SadiqKhan isn’t responsible for policing London. Sorry, but he, as Mayor, “is responsible for the totality of policing in the capital (outside of the City of London).” The increase in violence in the Capital is his responsibility.

The UK encourages all parties to engage in Cyprus peace talks and today I spoke to Turkish Foreign Minister @MevlutCavusoglu about the prospects for a peace settlement. We also discussed tensions in the Eastern Med and welcomed progress at the Libyan Political Dialogue Forum.

My thoughts are with the people of Northern Cyprus following the tragic freak weather which occured yesterday. Hoping everyone is safe and well.

We want the people responsible for making decisions and implementing policy to meet excellent standards. That means having a tough boss who expects the best, like @pritipatel. When a tough woman is successful, people will always try to pull them down.

@MPIainDS I think this will be of interest to our Constituents.
