A Jewish man rides the metro in his own neighbourhood, center Brussels, with a Star of David necklace given to him my his late father, poking out of his shirt.
3 persons hit him and tear the star of his neck. They don’t steal anything else, not his phone nor wallet.
Metro stations are full of cameras. There must be a through investigation and decisive action to find these criminals.
The solution can not be “hide your star”. Jewish Belgians should not live in fear.

Minister of Foreign Affairs @gidonsaar Appointed @GeorgeDeek as Special Envoy to the Christian World Minister of Foreign Affairs Gideon Sa’ar has appointed George Deek as Special Envoy to the Christian World. The appointment is intended to deepen Israel’s ties with Christian communities around the world. Deek, a veteran diplomat with 18 years of experience, most recently served as Israel’s Ambassador to Azerbaijan and was the first Christian ambassador in Israel’s history. He is a recipient of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Director General’s Award for Excellence. He is a member of the Arab Christian community in Jaffa and has been active in the community from a young age. His father, Youssef Deek, served for many years as Chairman of the Orthodox Christian community in Jaffa and in Israel. Minister Sa’ar: “The State of Israel attaches great importance to its relations with the Christian world and with its Christian friends around the world. I am confident that George, a respected and experienced diplomat, will greatly contribute to the friendship and strengthening of the ties between the State of Israel and the Christian world.”

Israeli strikes killed hundreds last night, making it hard to argue that such heavy-handed actions fall within self-defence. Israeli actions are putting the U.S.-Iran ceasefire under severe strain. The Iran truce should extend to Lebanon. Hezbollah must disarm. The EU supports Lebanon’s efforts to disarm Hezbollah.

Dear High Rep., these are the facts:
Since Hezbollah began its attacks unprovoked on March 2nd, it has indiscriminately fired roughly 6,500 missiles, rockets and drones at Israeli communities and citizens.
The IDF action yesterday in Lebanon was a precise strike, based on intelligence, aimed at dozens of terror targets: Hezbollah command centers manned by terrorists, weapons depots and launch sites.
The vast majority of the casualties were Hezbollah terrorists. No other military in the world is able to strike so precisely with minimal civilian casualties.
Dear High Rep., this action was far more precise than in any other war you’re familiar with.
Your call to extend the ceasefire to Lebanon is exactly the Iranian terror regime’s position. It makes Lebanon not just de-facto under Iranian occupation. It makes Lebanon de-jure Iranian territory. The US already made it clear that Lebanon is not part of the deal.
You claimed that Hezbollah “agreed to disarm”. When did that happen???
The opposite is true. Time and again Hezbollah declared they won’t.
You claim the EU “supports Lebanon’s efforts to disarm Hezbollah”. Unfortunately, despite its commitment to do so in the November 2024 ceasefire - the Lebanese government hadn’t done that, as we can all clearly see today.
Ridiculously enough, Hezbollah ministers still serve in the Lebanese government!

An editor called Iskandar323 (Wikipedia username), who was the leader of the "Gang of 40", a group of editors, has just been banned.
Wikipedia's Arbitration Committee site-banned him after an investigation showed the group coordinated over ONE MILLION EDITS shaping pro-Hamas narratives on articles about Hamas, Iran, Zionism, and the Middle East conflict.
Too little, too late!
It doesn't matter how much they'll try to "fix" it, it will stay unfixable as the rot has infested every once healthy tissue!
Euthanize it!
Google should immediately remove the "first result on the first page" bias they started 2 decades ago.
AI companies should immediately downgrade Wikipedia's ranking in training models
And we should all simply avoid entering that site from now on!

Diplomacy can’t work when one side is committed to manipulation, not truth.
As a diplomat, I believe deeply in dialogue and negotiation as the preferred path to resolving crises. But not every actor is a genuine partner for diplomacy.
For years, the regime of the mullahs in Tehran has not engaged in real negotiations, but in a political bazaar, exploiting Western goodwill and naivety to advance its violent ambitions through deception.
True diplomacy requires honesty, responsibility, and respect. When those are absent, the international community must recognize the difference between negotiation and manipulation.

To some European or NATO leaders:
No one said, Go to battle against Iran. But come, defend your bread, your water, your medicine. Fight your own fight and do not expect the hand of another, neither the Americans nor any, to do it for you. You are timid. Liars. Pharisees of diplomacy, preaching virtue while sowing death through inaction. Yes, Iran is dangerous with its missiles and drones. But when the nations marched against Libya to strike down Qaddafi, no fear of danger stopped them. Yet Libya did not close the Strait of Hormuz, did not choke 13% of EU gas, 4% of its oil, and did not hold humanitarian aid ransom. Compare the deeds! One dictator killed far fewer than the regime in Iran, which has spilled the blood of millions, Christians, Muslims, Jews, Americans, French, Germans, all nations under heaven.
And you, O Europe, you want all the fruit but fear the thorns. You tremble at terminology, yet your deeds cry louder: timidity. You would let the region burn beneath the Iranian scourge, yet wag a finger and preach restraint.
Grow up, leftist leaders. This is not revenge on Trump for his Ukraine stance. For once, act like leaders, not teenagers with hormones. Act like shepherds of your people, not goats led by whims.
The UAE said it: we can stand, alongside the nations, to guard the Strait of Hormuz.
Iran hurled its darts and fires upon us. We stopped Iran where it tried to stop us. Call us the Sparta of the Middle East, for we guard the gates while you hide behind scrolls and speeches.
Remember: the flow of trade and the lifeblood of nations is a trust for all, not a responsibility for the idle. The river of commerce flows only when the hands of the brave keep the way clear, not when the timid pray from afar.

Without their blood, treasure, solidarity, and courage—there is no Civil Rights Movement as we know it. No Voting Rights Act. No dream realized.
That's why I stand with the Jews.
They were our only true friends when this country hated us—when doors slammed shut and ropes hung high. They showed up, bled, and built with us.

Mr. Fletcher, the UN Under-Secretary-General for Humanitarian Affairs, @UNReliefChief, continues to incite against Israel. Yesterday at the Security Council, he called on Israel and Iran to “stop fighting their wars in Lebanon.”
Mr. Fletcher, this is an appalling and outrageous statement. Your call, which equates Israel with Iran, is like comparing the British Royal Air Force to the Nazi army in World War II. While Nazi planes attacked London every night, striking the civilian population, no one, rightly, thought to criticize the actions of the RAF.
We are targeting Hezbollah, which operates from Lebanon and launches hundreds of rockets at Israeli communities.
The same determination shown by the brave British pilots who did not falter against the brutal Nazi enemy exists today in Israeli pilots in their fight against Hezbollah attacks.
What is most egregious here is that, although you are supposed to deal with humanitarian issues, you choose instead to engage in politics and propaganda against the State of Israel.
