Passengers on a commercial flight capture the launch of Artemis II. Nasa’s moon rocket Artemis II launched on Wednesday evening, carrying astronauts to the moon for the first time in almost 54 years. The rocket is now orbiting Earth and will continue to do so until Thursday, when the translunar injection burn will take place and send it on the rest of its 240,000-mile journey to the moon. Inside the Orion capsule, the four astronauts onboard immediately began tasks to assess how the spacecraft handled the 17,500mph ascent to orbit.

Happy heavenly birthday to my late father, who would have celebrated his 96th birthday today. Born on this day in 1930 in Clapham in Southwest London. The last photo I took of my father, back in 2017. Please like this image, as it will mean a lot to me today. I still miss him.

Powerful winds are supsepable in the #FarEast. Data has proved that, when they all most compleated #HongKongs all new #InternationalAirport. 250mph winds smashed windows at the brand new #Airport. Good call to make by @SydneyAirport. I do believe safety comes first.

This is a much needed welcome #Boost to #UgandaAirlines. With #Uganda being one of the poorest nations in #Africa. Not the busiest of skies over #Africa, but it packs a mean punch, with @flyethiopian & @KenyaAirways, two of the biggest #AirlineCarriers in #Africa. Fantasic news.

The Government of Uganda has secured Shs.422.26b ($113 million USD approximately) to boost Uganda Airlines’ fleet expansion. 10 planes are expected to be added on the Uganda Airlines fleet. The funding, drawn from a supplementary budget request of Shs1.696 trillion approved by Parliament, is expected to help the airline address frequent flight disruptions caused by the current limited number of aircraft. Uganda Airlines has in recent months faced fleet constraints that have affected its long-haul operations, including the temporary suspension of some international routes. #airlines

How sad to hear the news, that two of @AirCanada #Pilots are both killed at @LGAairport. I feel for the familes of those #Pilots. A fully investigation will be laurched, into why this tragic accident happened. The poor Air Traffic Controller, what must have been slow motion. #RIP

When I first saw this image. I thought #AI at it's very best. then noticed it wasn't #AI at all. Must have been a massive #Bird to knock the #NoseDome off, this @Airbus #A330. A replacement #Aircraft was to take the passengers, on there onward journey. I see, a #FlockOfBirds. Wow

China Southern Airlines Airbus A330-343 loses its radome on departure from Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport after hitting a flock of birds. The flight safely returned to Shanghai about 20 minutes after departure.

This is a new route, recently added by the #LatvianCarrier, that only entered service late last year. So this is the right decision to make. @airBaltic are the most sucessful #AirlineCarriers in the business. I love their operations, with new routes added all the time. Right Move
