Venom Suit Pippa, truly a wonderful sight to behold. The amount of work to get everything just right is great. Tried making my own, and all were failures: failures upon failures. If only Pippa had a Venom Suit outfit to her rigging...

The pool of people consuming psychiatric drugs grows yearly (we’re nearly at 25% of the population). It’s far easier to prescribe drugs than it is to carefully & safely withdraw them, so countless people are just left on - often further undermining their physical/mental health.

Unpopular opinion but most parents are losers. They puff out their chests and act all tough when it comes to some 30 year old guy trying to court their daughter, but the mother put her on birth control in middle school and she had her asshole prolapsed in the school washroom by:

What's the likelihood that the manosphere's fixation on "Women are born with inherent value, but men must constantly create value to become worthy" is a hangover from courtly & romantic love conventions? x.com/i/grok/share/e…

According to Aristotle, republics are only possible among homogeneous ethnic groups, while tyranny flourishes in highly fragmented cultures. Multi-ethnic society is the hallmark of despotic rule; for it lacks Philia, that fraternity of citizens which derives from genetic kinship.

“He won’t take on $90k in debt because he doesn’t want a loving marriage” is some of the most longhoused bs I have ever heard.
Wayne Rowcliffe 🦬@wrowclif

@41KOOR Yes, there are very many people very upset by the idea that they could end up in a loving marriage. It actually seems to be the thing they are most afraid of.

The fact that the society does not see these type of people as a dangerous parasite means something is very very wrong. Society needs to provide incentives for and be lead by those who are actually productive members of society

It’s an even deeper problem than that. Our culture has spent the last two-three generations delegitimizing the concept of just rule. Deconstructing the concept of hierarchy. There’s no acceptable form of good government left. Every story has to be about overthrowing oppression, because all rules even if imposed by democracy are a form of oppression.

I will never get over the fact that Disney chose to name the heroes of the Star Wars sequels "the Resistance", despite the fact that the Rebel Alliance overthrew the Empire decades earlier and re-established the Galactic Republic. There's a broader lesson in there about how modern writers and artists think about everything. They ALWAYS have to be the brave revolutionaries and are never willing to accept that a day could come when they themselves become the ruling order.

Antidepressants can absolutely take lives. Read the side effects. Suicide is listed, so is aggression. Nowhere does is state "life saving". Numbing out uncomfortable emotions may feel great at first until it doesn't. Pharmaceutical companies would be shouting "life saving" from the rooftops if that were true. Informed consent matters.

Men collapse when they confuse freedom with no discipline. Real freedom is self-imposed slavery to a standard, because without it you drift into lust, sloth, and cheap comfort that eats your future.

What is mental illness? My thoughts regarding what I think it is. 6.5 Years 3.25 years on Lexapro 0.75 year taper 2.5 years drug free. Starting to sense who I was in 2018. Anders Sørensen at the MAHA Institute said: "The body doesn't care what we call a drug or what receptors it acts on. It just [adapts], setting the stage for withdrawal [and] dependence.” When you label someone with a mental illness and give them a drug you reliably produce a predictable change. When someone consumes alcohol the expected effect is highly reliable. Mental illness and drug withdrawal look so similar it fools everyone who doesn't have an intimate understanding of it. It is even possible to take a drug; become mentally ill and fail to recognize the drug is culprit in you now becoming sick. This cycles me back to what Anders said "The body doesn't care" plus combining it with my own belief that all pychriatric drugs work by disrupting communication in the brain. How we feel, think and see the world is a result of biological function and our experiences. As soon as you consume the drug your brain function changes and how you see the world shifts. Give a healthy person a SSRI and a week later they are in akathisia and making suicide attempts. Almost everyone will see the person as mentally ill. Including the ill informed patient. Therefore what is mental illness if we can produce it by forcing shifts in brain function? This would mean that mental illness doesn't exist. This concept would explain why medicine has a cure rate of zero plus a genetic causes found also equals zero. How do you find and treat something that doesn't exist? If this framework is accurate it would explain why people become better when they quit their drugs and work towards healthier living. This would also mean mental illness is nothing more than the drugging of emotional pain which results in a shift in the mechanical functioning of the brain. Is mental illness emotional pain? Or is it a drug induced illusion? When we quit the drug the illusion begins to collapse and the pain returns. We call this agitation, anxiety, low mood, brain fog etc. It is the brain struggling again just like when you started the drug. I choose to see people behavior as rational based on how the brain is mechanically presenting information to the mind. Irrational behavior now becomes a logical reaction. The soul isn't mentally ill. But the brain has become contaminated by a drug and is actively scaring the mind which presents as the person being mentally ill when in fact they are injured. Given pychriatric drugs injure the brain. This is why they cause the very problems it is claimed they treat. Anti-anxiety medication produces anxiety when you quit them. Antipsychotics can produce psychosis when you quit those. When you shift brain function you shift reality and almost no one can see it. We have a blood brain barrier for a reason and maybe bypassing it with targetted pychriatric drugs wasn't a good idea.

Zoom out for one minute, and honestly take a look at the cultural landscape all around. Pornography is everywhere, commitment is low, children are treated as accidents, and abortion is framed as healthcare. Something clearly is not right. And I argue, that all of this has come about because we have separated sex from its core purposes. Sex has never been historically understood as a one purpose act. Sex carries three inseparable meanings, it bonded two people, it was open to creating life, and it was pleasurable. None of these things should be seen as competing goods, but remove one from the three and the entire house collapses.
