I never realized how much sports can truly impact a person’s life skills until I became a parent. I love watching my daughter, Helen, play the game but love even more how basketball is molding her into an incredible human! It’s so much more than a game! 🏀🏀🏀

@Coach_Carreon My 5th grade daughter is dedicated & determined to be a Lady Lion Mountain Ridge basketball player in a few years, as Ridge is our home school. You’re doing an amazing job building the program!

We’ve been able to turn this program around on the backs of girls who were zoned to go to Ridge. Zero open enrollments since I’ve been here.
I’m not saying I’m against them. I’m just proud of the fact we didn’t “need” them to do what we’ve done.

@DougDucey This is like putting a band aid on a broken leg! Retaining and recruiting highly effective and experienced teachers is the biggest factor in closing the gaps. Spending money on programs, materials, and a couple weeks of canned summer school lessons will not fix this problem!
