@AFCFixtureNews Obviously Arsenal wouldn’t but the rules about away fans by the pitch is a Premier League one, right? Logistics and realism aside, why couldn’t we in theory put them in upper tier?
English

@DaRealDonreal Genuine question: obviously you have your issues with Teta (I do but not as severe), if we win Prem and Big Ears (IF), would you mind him staying?

My special request is he wins this league and then fucks off for good

8 years ago today, new signing Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, who was on 2 goals, gave up the chance to score a hat-trick by giving a penalty to teammate Alexandre Lacazette.
Lacazette hadn’t scored for 3 months but after the penalty, he scored an important brace four days later in the Europa League quarter-finals.
Before this incident, there was a lot of talk about whether Aubameyang & Lacazette would get along & if it would cause tension in the Arsenal dressing room.

Wembley DJ now playing "Things can only get better". D-Ream on. Rising sun and a sinking feeling: Japan beat a disappointing England 1-0. Seven thoughts on the whistle from Wembley…
Harry 1. Wrap Kane in cotton wool. Hope he enjoys a prolific, niggle-free end of season at Bayern. England lack leadership, focus and goals without their captain and record scorer. England also missed Rice and Saka.
Harry 2. Believe in Maguire. How on earth is Maguire sixth choice centre-back, according to Tuchel? Brings authority, passing from the back and a threat at corners (and pens). Header cleared off line by Sugawara. Must go to the World Cup.
Play with more width, more freedom. Get the wingers to take on their full-backs, not cut inside all the time. England painfully narrow for an hour. Rashford and Bowen brought some width. Some. Express yourself.
Believe in Bellingham. Injured but let’s dispel the doubts: he has to start at 10. Bellingham would have taken responsibility, imposing himself. He’s world class. If England are to progress far at the World Cup, they'll need their best players. And Bellingham is one.
No more Ben White. Decent player but a divisive figure amongst England fans. Booed on, booed off. England’s hard core crowd in the Block 109 particularly vocal. England have enough alternatives at right-back (even with Tuchel’s damaging snubbing of Alexander-Arnold).
Perspective. England swept through an easy qualifying campaign. But up against decent teams, Senegal (ranked 19th at the time), Uruguay (17th) and Japan (19th) they struggled. LDL. You cannot lose possession cheaply. And this was 13C, not the 23C+ across the pond. Japan looked a real team, well-organised. England didn't.
Positive. Don’t panic. England lost 1-0 at Wembley (to Iceland) in their warm-up before Euro 2024 - and reached the final. #ENG

Glad the world gets to see the shameless pundits who are platformed commenting on Arsenal.
Are you calling Tuchel a liar? Stop the dishonest discourse.
With all due respect, I wont take lessons on integrity from a man who pulled out of representing the 3 Lions to do this?

@HandofArsenal If you listened I said I did it and regret it as would have got more caps! Prat 👍🏾

🚨 Following medical tests, Piero Hincapié leaves Ecuador camp and returns to London with immediate effect. Arsenal defender will be assessed by #AFC staff this upcoming week.

@DaRealDonreal Kepa starting is so amateur though. Cup keeper nonsense just play your best team in a final. We have a quadruple on the line ffs
English

Best possible XI we could field, need Max off the bench though
afcstuff@afcstuff
🚨 Arsenal XI: Kepa; White, Saliba, Gabriel, Hincapie; Zubimendi, Rice, Havertz; Saka, Trossard, Gyökeres. ✅ [@HandofArsenal]
English

Early guess:
Kepa; Calafiori, Gabriel, Saliba, Mosquera; Rice, Zubimendi, Havertz; Martinelli, Gyokeres, Saka
afcstuff@afcstuff
🚨 Kai Havertz STARTS for Arsenal. [@HandofArsenal]
Indonesia

@DarrenArsenal1 Why do you feel the need to tweet this on the day of a final? That desperate for attention?
English

@Armzinnho Imagine him in the positions Gyokeres found himself in during the first half against Chelsea

Isak’s incorrectly disallowed goal vs Liverpool last season. Broke their entire defence. Let’s run it back. #NUFC
