@bonchieredstate The US seems to be inadvertently stoking a civil war. Eventually the civil leaders of Iran and IRGCC will be fighting in the streets. I guess the citizens may back the civil leaders in the hopes they moderate or they make it a mess and open a third front in the streets.

I just received contract details for Utah State's new head coach Ben Jacobson. His annual salary will start at $1.2 million, increasing by $50k until it reaches $1.4 million by the final year of his contract. The buyout is 75% of the cumulative remaining salary with each year's term ending on March 31.

Oregon State President Jayathi Murthy announced that AD Scott Barnes will retire effective Aug. 31.

Painter’s point is excellent. The functional problem with college sports is everyone is highly incentivized to do what’s best for themselves and there is very little incentive to act in the best interest of the enterprise as a whole.
