A few weeks ago I opened a custodial account for my 1y old niece. I did it because I want to begin her investing journey as early as possible because I genuinely believe it will completely change her life. I will be posting the journey to maturity of the custodianship when she turns 25. I want this to be proof to everyone that compound interest can change everyones life even with small recurring amounts. A lot of credit to @vladtenev, @ChrisCamillo, @stevenfiorillo and @amitisinvesting for inspiring me to do this. I plan on doing this for all my future nieces and nephews as well as my own kids when that day comes.

I just put a $200 stop loss on 20% of my $NBIS position. With an average of $83 I’ve been trimming throughout the run and I feel like now is a good time to lock in further profits. Love the company I just think it got a bit to euphoric to quickly.

It's official: Canada has unexpectedly entered a technical recession for the first time since the pandemic lockdowns in 2020. Real GDP in Canada fell -0.1% in Q1 2026 following a -1.0% contraction in Q4 2025. This marks two-straight quarters of GDP contraction for the first time in six years. Economists had expected Q1 GDP growth of +1.5%, yet the economy suddenly contracted. The weak GDP data coincides with a weak job market as well, as the Canadian economy is likely to remain under pressure amid ongoing US tariffs. Meanwhile, the household saving rate fell to 3.5%, reaching its lowest level since the Q1 2024 as spending rose faster than incomes. Canada is facing a major economic slowdown.

MAGA hates working people. It’s a disgrace that nearly 20 GOP states still have a $7.25 minimum wage. In California, it’s $25 an hour for an entire sector of workers! As it should be.

Just got assigned a relative massive amount of $BMNR shares on my CSP’s. It’s not what I intended but it’s the risk you take on to make 9% a month in premiums. It’s now 9.42% of my portfolio and counting. Let the flywheel begin

Gold and silver had strong reverseals off today's sharp selloff lows, as both metals closed with solid gains on the day. Gold is now back above $4,500 and silver is back above $76. Precious metals and mining stocks likely put in significant bottoms with big rallies coming soon.

The Fed's preferred inflation gauge came in at 3.8 percent for April, up from 3.5 percent in March, & core ticked up to 3.3 percent. Both are now running at their hottest since 2023. This is the measure the central bank spent two years insisting was drifting back toward its 2 percent "target." It is drifting the other way, & April was the second straight month.
