தமிழர்களின் கண்டுபிடிப்புக்கள் இன்று தமிழர்கள் அறியாமல் அடையாளம் இழந்து கொண்டு உள்ளனர்... தினசரி காலண்டரில் " கெர்போட்ட நிவர்த்தி" என்று ஒரு குறிப்பு கண்டேன். அப்படி என்றால் என்ன? ஏதேனும் விசேட நாளா?. சிலர் காலண்டரின் பின் பக்கம் என்றைக்கெல்லாம் தமிழகஅரசு விடுமுறைன்னு பாக்கும் போதெல்லாம் *கெர்போட்ட நிவர்த்தி* என்று ஒன்று இருப்பதையும் கவனித்திருப்பீர்கள் . இது எதும் விசேட தினமோ அல்லது மார்கழி மாத கோவில் திருநாளோ அல்ல. உண்மையில் தமிழர்கள் அடுத்த வருட மழை கணிப்பு முறை. அதாவது "கரு ஓட்டம்" என்பதே கர்ப ஓட்டம் என்று மாறி கர்ப்போட்டம் என்றாகி இன்று காலண்டர்களில் கெர்ப்போட்டம் என்று காண்கிறது. நம்முடைய தமிழகத்தில் சூரியனின் சுழற்சியை மையமாக கொண்ட சூரிய வழி மாதங்கள் பின்பற்ற படுகிறது இது தவிர வானியல் நட்சத்திரங்களை இருபத்தேழு மண்டலங்களாகவும் பன்னிரு ராசி மண்டலங்களாகவும் பிரித்துள்ளனர். அவ்வகையில் தனூர் மாதம் எனப்படும் மார்கழியில் சூரியன் தனூர் ராசி மண்டலத்தை கடக்கும் போது பூராட நட்சித்திரத்தை கடக்க பதினான்கு நாட்களை எடுத்து கொள்கிறது. இந்நாட்களில் கருமேகங்கள் தெற்கு நோக்கி நகருவதை கண்டு கொள்ளலாம். இந்த பதினான்கு நாட்களும் கர்ப்போட்ட நாட்கள் ஆகும். அதாவது மழை கரு கொள்ளும் நாள் அல்லது மேகம் சூல் ஆகும் நாள். இதனை பெண்ணின் பத்து மாத கர்ப்ப காலத்துடன் ஒப்பிடுங்கள்.மார்கழியில் கர்ப்பம் தரிக்கும் பெண் ஒருவள்்ஒன்பது மாதம் கழித்து புரட்டாசிக்கு பின் பிள்ளை பெறுவாள். அவ்வகையில் இந்த கர்போட்ட நாட்களில் மழை முறையாக சூல் கொண்டால் ஒன்பது மாதம் கழித்து அடுத்த ஆண்டில் ஐப்பசி கார்த்திகையில் மழை பொழிவு அளவும் முறையாக இருக்கும். இந்த கர்போட்ட நாட்கள் தோராயமாக டிசம்பர் 28 முதல் ஐனவரி 11ஆந் தேதி வரை அமைகிறது. ஒரு எளிய விவசாயிக்கு தனூர் மாதம் பூராடம் நட்சத்திரம் எல்லாம் தெரியாது இல்லையா??. எனவே மார்கழி மாதம் அமவாசையில் இருந்து அடுத்து வரும் பதினான்கு நாட்கள் "கர்போட்ட நாட்கள்" என்று நினைவில் வைத்து கொள்வார்கள். இந்நாட்களில் லேசான தூறல் மெல்லிய சாரல் போன்ற மழை இருந்தால் மேகம் சரியாக கரு கட்டி இருக்கிறது என்று பொருள். எனவே வரும் அடுத்த ஆண்டு நல்ல மழையை எதிர்பார்க்கலாம். மாறாக கர்ப்போட்ட நாட்களில் கன மழை பெய்து சூறைக் காற்று வீசினாலோ கடும் வெயில் இருந்தாலோ மேகத்தின் கரு கலைந்து விட்டது என்று பொருள். எனவே மார்கழியில் கன மழை பெய்தால் அடுத்த ஆண்டு பருவ மழை பொய்க்கும் என அர்த்தம். இன்றைய வாழ்க்கையின் மாறுபட்ட சூழலியல் கேடுகளும் பருவ நிலை மாற்றமும் மேகத்தின் கருக்கலைக்கும் வில்லன்களாக உருவெடுப்பதால்தான் ஒவ்வொரு வருடமும் மழையளவு குறைகிறது. இந்த கர்போட்ட நாட்களை கணித்து இன்றும் திருநெல்வேலி பகுதிகளில் விவசாயிகள் தங்கள் நிலங்களில் மானாவாரி (வானம் பார்த்த பயிர் ) பயிர்களை விதைக்கிறார்கள் விவசாயிகள். சூரியன் வடக்கு நோக்கி நகர்வதற்கு.முன்னால் பூமியின் அச்சு அசையாமல் இருக்கும். இதுதான் கர்ப்போட்டம் சங்க கால நூலில் உள்ளது..இந்த காலத்தில் எத்தனை மிமீ மழை எங்கே, எவ்வளவு பதிவு ஆகிறதோ.அதை ஆறு மாத நாள்களால் பெருக்க வேண்டும். உதாரணம் 5மிமீ × 180=900 மிமீ சராசரியாக பெய்யும்..அதற்கு தகுந்தால் போல் நீர் மேலாண்மை செய்வார்கள். பயிரை தேர்வு செய்வார்கள். நாம் இது பற்றி எல்லாம் தெரியாமல் காலண்டரில் கர்ப்போட்டம் என்று பார்த்ததும் ஏதோ பண்டிகை என்று நினைத்து தேதியை கிழிப்பது போல நம் பாரம்பரியத்தை கிழிக்கிறோம். ஆங்கில கல்வியில் நம் பாரம்பரியத்தை இழந்து இன்று மழை வரும் நாட்களை தெரிந்து கொள்ள வானிலை அறிக்கைக்கு டீவியை பார்த்து கொண்டு அமர்ந்து இருக்கிறோம். புதுமையின் மோகத்தில் எத்துணை பழமைகளை இழந்து கொண்டிருக்கிறோம் நாம்!!. ஆராய்ந்து உன் முன்னோரின் யுத்திகளை கையாழு என் தமிழா. இது போன்ற நுணுக்கங்கங்களை விவசாயிகளுக்கு கற்றுத் தர வேண்டிய நம் தமிழக அரசுக்கு. இங்கு மெத்த படித்த அறிவியலுக்குதானே அரசு வேலையே !!. இனியாவது கர்ப ஓட்டத்தை காண்போம். காவேரி புஷ்ர விழாவை அடுத்து இந்த மழை 144 ஆண்டுகளுக்கு பிறகு வரப் போகும் தாமிரபரணி புஷ்கர மழை என்பதை நினைவில் கொள்ளுங்கள். ஆற்றின் மகிமையை போற்றும் தாமிரபரணி புஷ்கர விழாவில் அவசியம் நாம் சந்திப்போம்...நீராடுவோம்.
