PATRIOTS IN SHADOWS: World War II. British India. A covert war beneath the surface of Empire. The Indian National Army of Subhas Chandra Bose is on the Indo-Burma border seeking to liberate India. The British Indian Army is engaged in war with Allied support to prevent this. A chain of events begins undermining the war efforts of the British Indian Army. Arsenals burn, army convoys are sabotaged, trains carrying aircraft parts explode, and senior colonial officials collapse without explanation in the secure atmosphere of a prestigious club. As investigators chase shadows across the subcontinent, a chilling truth emerges: a clandestine network is striking at the heart of imperial power. Ordinary people, driven by belief rather than recognition, perform extraordinary acts that quietly challenge imperial power. Inspired by real wartime events, this historical espionage thriller explores resistance, secrecy, and moral courage during the final years of the British Empire. On April 14th, 1944, two major events occurred. The Indian National Army raised the flag of Free India for the first time in the liberated area in Manipur at Moirang Kangla. Same day, a devastating blast at Bombay’s Victoria Docks rains gold, destroys ships, and sends shockwaves through British India. This was the biggest explosion in the Eastern theater of World War 2 till dropping of the atomic bomb. Available on Kindle Unlimited and Amazon globally.mybook.to/2APg #fiction,#worldwar2,#india,#british.

Respectfully: the most authentic book on statecraft was written in India about 2000 years back by Chanakya. This treatise known as Arthashastra covers everything that the Prince has and more. The prince being inspired from Ceasere Borgia is very restricted. Chanakya was a professor of Statecraft and under his guidance the biggest empire - Maurya empire- the largest India has ever had was created.

🚨 In 1513, a man was thrown in prison, tortured, and exiled. So he wrote a book about power. The Catholic Church banned it. Napoleon was caught with a copy in his carriage after his final defeat. Stalin kept it on his bedside table and wrote notes in the margins. Mussolini read it. Kissinger and Nixon used it as bedtime reading. The book is The Prince by Niccolò Machiavelli. It's 500 years old. It invented the word "Machiavellian." And it's still the most dangerous book on power ever written. I turned Machiavelli's core strategies into 12 Claude prompts. You describe any power struggle (office politics, negotiations, competition, leadership) and it gives you the exact Machiavellian counter-move. Here are all 12:

If not Ranbeer Kapoor then who in Bollywood would have played Shri Ram's role in the movie? I see many people say Ranveer Singh, but if he didn't have recent Dhurandhar to his credit, people would be trolling him harder than Ranbeer Kapoor. Such was his image before Dhurandhar.

When I first started understanding music as a kid, I heard Jewel Thief songs on a loop in my family, so much so that the disc wore out in a few weeks. When I went to college in our hostel, songs from Aradhana were the only ones for months. The songs of Dhurandhar in my mind occupy the same cult status. Can't get enough of them. Not only a great movie but superb music and very evocative. #Dhurandhar2‌TheRevenge #dhurandhar

Chatrapati Shivaji and the revival of Nationalism. Homage to the great statesman, visionary, and strategist on the anniversary of the day he left for his heavenly abode. My personal take: 1. Use a combination of diplomacy and strategy in dealing with a strong, entrenched enemy. 2. Payback in the same coin within the grace of your own culture. 3. Inspire others: The spark generated by Shivaji led to a fire, and within a hundred years, the rulership of most parts of India had passed on to the Marathas. 4. Establish a Dharmic precedence as seen by his coronation by renowned priests. Truly a light in a dark period. AI generated image.

Post Dhurandhar, Ranveer Singh has shown up at public events in: - Well-tailored suits - Jodhpuri bandhgalas - Blazers, shirts, and trousers Not once has he been seen in those loud harem pants, long skirts, or five-buttons-open silk shirts with kaleidoscopic prints. The boy has become a man. The struggling genius has become an actor. Genuinely happy to see him finally realise his worth and carry himself accordingly, in both craft and presence.

Today in history: April 2nd, 1941. Thousands of miles away from India, the person whose only goal was to liberate India from the British ,finally reached Berlin. The luck of the country had been slowly turning for the better due to the efforts of this man.His name; Subhas Chandra Bose, soon to be given the moniker Netaji. An indicative AI-generated photo.

The two most intense battles of World War 2 were in Asia. These were the Battle of Iwo Jima and the Battle for Okinawa. The battle for Owinawa started today, and it took 83 days for the US to take control with massive casualties. The Japanese, by this time, knew they were losing, but they used a strategy to make it as difficult and expensive for US troops as they could. Pic : Britannia.com

The British in India were rattled after the Naval,Airforce and Army rebellion. The inspiration behind these were INA and Subhas Chandra Bose. How do you run a country when your system to impose rule is in danger of being broken. The British sent second Cripps Mission to India to check ground realities. After checking ground realities on April 1st 1946 he said: ' We want to give independence to India as we can' The British were clear they have to leave. Then it became how to leave with least financial damage to them. Naman to Subhas Bose who inspired and led the last leg of India's freedom fight.

@XGuruManoj That Bose was the first Prime Minister is an absolute truth and nothing but the truth. It is also in accordance with international practices. Azad hind government was recognized by 9 countries.

@sarkar_swati Subhas Bose did not receive a paisa from Vittalbhai’s estate as Gandhi has Vallabhbhai contest the will.

Subhas Chandra Bose had a massive conflict with both Gandhi and Vallabhbhai Patel. But he clearly did not hold this against all Gujaratis. His close friend/mentor/comrade was Vallabhbhai’s elder brother Vittalbhai, who had even bequeathed his entire estate to Subhas Babu. Subhas Babu nursed him at his death bed in Austria/Germany. M. R. Vyas was Subhas Babu’s closest aides in Germany during the Second World War.
