@ImYouthSoccer This proves what most already know: recruiting is as much about relationships and connections as it is about talent.

🚨Against long odds these 110 players in the Class of 2026 got a D1 commitment without any major showcase exposure as they didn't play on the #ECNL or #GirlsAcademy platform. Huge congratulations to all the payers!!

@ProvenSports The issue isn’t clueless parents. It’s a system where clubs, showcases, and now agencies🔝 get paid before the athlete ever lives the college experience. That rewards placement over fit.Maybe part of the fix is simple. Start recruiting in a child’s senior year, not their junior.

So, we keep seeing posts like the below about players choosing the wrong program and what a huge problem it is. So, why is that? Based on our 20 ex player consultants they will tell you it is because a recruit "doesn't know what they don't know." "They don't know what should be most important to them in assessing the right fit." "They don't know how to identify tell tale signs (good/bad) of the right fit." So, our question is WHAT ARE YOU DOING TO MAKE SURE YOU OR YOUR CHILD IS NOT ONE OF THESE UNHAPPY PLAYERS WHO EITHER QUITS, TRANSFERS OR ARE JUST MISERABLE? We don't want you to be that kid becuase WE WERE THAT KID. Let us help and get you on the right track for free--one hour. DM us.

🚨Saw this post on social media and there are ZERO players left from the Class of 2023 at this Power 4 program. Yes there were coaching changes but there are about 100 D1 programs where only 1-2 players graduate at the school where they committed to out of High School. This is a LOT more common than most players/parents think and it often a mix of player and coaches decisions. The turnover at many D1 programs is very problematic so be sure to check the rosters and do your research!! #transferportal #ncaa #d1 #d1soccer #soccerlife #soccer

@MarkManger @mlycan12 An additional observation.. many clubs are "boyz" club. I feel there are many women coaches who aren't given a chance.

@MarkManger @mlycan12 Not a knock at all, just an observation. European coaches have absolutely contributed to player development. My question is more about recruiting. I’m not sure how someone who hasn’t personally navigated the U.S college recruiting process can fully guide young women through it.

One of my favorite things about these massive showcases is the incredible display of female athletes. One of the strangest is how few women are actually on the sidelines coaching them. (if anyone sees one or is coached by one, can you please shout them out so I can go get photographic proof 🧐) #WhereMyGirlsAt @WMTribeWSOC

@DisneyChannel @YouTubeTV Customers aren’t collateral. Disney and YouTube need to stop treating their base like an afterthought and fix this fast. Sort it out, honor the people who pay for your platforms, and show you still understand what trust means.

@mlycan12 I've always wondered why there aren't more female coaches and directors in youth clubs. Many are led by men, often from overseas, who are expected to guide players through a college path they've never experienced themselves.

Not so fun fact: nearly every youth player that comes to us has never had a female coach. Don’t get me wrong, there’s a ton of fantastic male coaches but we pride ourselves on developing and mentoring strong kick ##s women to go take on the world by setting an example of being them ourselves—-coaches, moms, wives, athletes, boss ladies—it’s possible to do it all. Here’s one of the few female coaches I’ve seen on the sidelines—back at it in the club world and one of the best in the business doing it the right way! Shout out Octavia @kingshammer #GirlPower #PlayLikeAGirl

I am so excited to announce my verbal commitment to play D1 soccer and further my academics at Rice University! A huge thank you to my family, coaches, teammates and friends who have supported me throughout this entire process and pushed me to be my best! This would not be possible without them. Lastly, thank you to Coach Brian, Coach Gen, Coach Bella and Braxton for believing in me and giving me this amazing opportunity! Go Owls! 🦉💙👐
