@KyleEM203 I think you need to see the true dangers of what these devices can do as opposed to the current marketing that encourages their use as a “safe alternative to smoking”. This is true for an adult who’s been smoking for several years but not a 12 year old.

According to NIDA, every day nearly 3,200 youth under the age of 18 utilize their first tobacco product. Vaping is the most commonly used tobacco product among youth in the US. Youth who use vaping products or smokeless tobacco may also be more likely to use cigarettes. #NDAFW

@KyleEM203 I think the biggest factor is the marketing strategies used to entice youth and the flavoring placed in the devices. Despite a flavoring ban being in effect, there are loopholes to accessing flavors.

With 90%+ of our country on a stay at home order due to #COVID19, parents should have more control over the actions of their children. Youth #vaping should be on a drastic decline right now. And if it’s not, shame on the parents for aiding their children in illegal behavior.
