@Chens89 @lisakirbie Did you read the part where I said I wasn’t thrilled about this? I’m uncomfortable with her based on her voting record and past statements so don’t put words in my mouth. I was simply pointing out similarities to when Chrétien was the leader of the LPC.

One thing this does for CPC is it creates a conundrum for them. Poilievre is likely toast now so do they go with someone rabid in their views similar to a Gallant MAGA type or do they go more red Tory like Deltell or another O’Toole type? Certainly will be interesting to watch!

One thing I think @MarkJCarney and @liberal_party need to be unequivocal about in light of this latest floor crossing is that they are still ardently pro-choice and pro-2SLGBTQ+ rights. These rights are non negotiable and cannot be sacrificed in the name of a majority. #cdnpoli

@lisakirbie Yeah I understand that to be sure. You need to do what works for you. That said I can’t imagine the party wouldn’t be still unequivocally in favour of those positions but I very much respect and understand your viewpoint.
