Too many young people are resenting Boomers, claiming that Boomers had it " easy " financially in their youth. Here are a few fun facts about growing up Boomer. 1. Almost everyone grew up with one bathroom. Mom, Dad and all 3-6 siblings. 2. If you did get to take a vacation, you drove. With no air conditioning. No cup holders. No iPads. Just black vinyl seats and bologna sandwiches. 3. There were no club sports. No Parks and Rec activities. Summer camp was for rich kids. Get yourself a bike, a stick and a few friends. If you were bored, you laid in the grass and looked at clouds. 4. You ate what was served. Even if it was chicken livers. No DoorDash, no backup Totino's rolls. 5. No AP classes, no PSEO, no "fun" elective. They assigned you to a class. You went. You did what they asked. Or else. 6. Unless you had rich parents, you had a nice VFW wedding. Maybe rent a room at a modest hotel. 7. Most Boomers got their first pedi and mani in their 50s (when their feet got farther away). We didn't even know people got massages in real life, only in Hollywood. 8. You packed your own lunch for decades. 9. No one knew what red light therapy was, a facial, a spa day, or a cold plunge. Your gym was the YMCA. Usually in a rather old building. 10. We grew up with 18 percent inflation, 14 percent mortgage rates, 3 million continuing unemployment claims, and 200 other applicants competing for the same job. Now, this is not to say Millenials and Gen Z have it easy or don't face problems. It's just to say, nobody has it easy or doesn't face problems. My only hope, as my mom would say, is I live long enough to see my kids' kids complain about how easy they had it!

@lady_valor_07 I had to pick 2 things off my plate. When my parents were together mom would make a carb a meat and a veg. When they split, it was fend for yourself or eat what was served.

This is what the CBC FINALLY wrote about me regarding my Vaccine injury…Thoughts? “Kayla Pollock was 35 when she was injured by the vaccine. The Ontario woman says she was athletic and outgoing before getting her COVID-19 booster shot in February 2022. Today, she is paralyzed from the chest down with limited function in her arms. She was diagnosed with acute transverse myelitis, inflammation of the spinal cord that can cause sudden and irreversible damage. Pollock applied for compensation in 2022 and said her claim still has not been finalized. She's dealt with multiple case workers in that time. "I thought my case would be really simple because it's really severe," she said. But Pollock isn't convinced the government will do a better job. “I think it's very fitting that the fools are to take over on April Fool's Day."

Get up..... Shower.... Eat something...... Walk..... Lift..... Pray.... Breathe..... Call one real person...... Sleep before your mind turns into an enemy courtroom. Cuz the hidden truth of rock bottom is this: it lies to you. It tells you this pain is permanent. It tells you you’ve ruined everything. It tells you the man you were is dead. But every man who survived that darkness learned one law: your lowest moment is not your final identity, it’s just the place where the rebuild begins. Some of the most dangerous men alive were built in the exact hour they almost quit. Not because they felt hope. Because they chose discipline before emotion returned. So i mean to sayy: Don’t end your life in a chapter that was only meant to end your weakness. Hold the line tonight. The version of you that exists after this pain may one day thank you for not listening to the darkest voice in the room.

To all men who survived rock bottom, what’s one piece of advice would you give a man who feels like giving up right now?

I have been asking to access indigenous services through WCAT and WSBC since late January/ early February. Qalipu tribe. I have followed up almost a dozen times. Yesterday WSBC tells me that they accidentally did not send the refferal. Again, I have repeatedly followed up. WCAT said they only have indigenous navigators once you have already taken all the risk and did the hard part that can’t be corrected later. It’s all fake and nefarious.

Indigenous storyteller will say his great grandfather long ago hunted and fished on the moon, and our courts will consider it valid evidence.
