David Selwood, once a resident judge at Portsmouth crown court, was sentenced to a 12-month community rehabilitation order after authorities discovered dozens of illegal images on his personal computer. The material, involving boys aged between eight and 14, had been downloaded over several weeks. During sentencing, the court emphasized the seriousness of the offences, noting that such crimes contribute to the exploitation and abuse of children.
