@EliteSportTopic @MambaArchives Curry plays more like Rip Hamilton and Ray Allen than a Point guard. Curry plays more like a shooting guard than point guard.

@LABlitz44 @MambaArchives a primary basketball position responsible for leading the offense, directing plays, and facilitating ball movement. Curry is a PG . He just does different but the same concept. He makes others better

@EliteSportTopic @MambaArchives What is the definition of point guard in basketball? Not some made up definition to fit your narrative, but the actual definition.

@LABlitz44 @MambaArchives U guys look at numbers then actually watching and breaking down the game and it’s so easy to just LOOK and see how he manages the court. Curry is a true PG

@EliteSportTopic @MambaArchives You typed all this up to say Curry isn’t a PG and doesn’t handle the ball to get the assists. Lol. We all have seen the games.

@LABlitz44 @MambaArchives Draymond can get those assist because of Curry movement which allows just to feed the open man because of curry’s gravity. They both do it in different but Curry is more of a threat. And magic was a mid defender. Curry on ball defense post 2020 is better then magics in his prime

@EliteSportTopic @MambaArchives You’re entitled to your opinion, but it’s wrong. Magic was the actual PG of the team and had the ball in his hands to run the offense. Steph is more like a SG that runs off screens. Magic is significantly more impactful on both ends of the floor.

@MambaArchives Give me Steph. Steph impact on the floor is far more impactful than magic. Mfs is more terrified with Curry with the ball in his hands then magic. And where’s the narrative that magic played with Kareem lls

@Yinoma2001 If we look at analytics, was Herb that much better than Vando? Vando had a very short chain with JJ, but he improved a little at 3 point shooting.

@Yinoma2001 @Purpl3andGold At the time of the move, it was already clear they would cut Goodwin because he was on a non guaranteed deal and they didn’t know if they needed salary flexibility. Not everyone can operate with hindsight, but it was a bad move at the end of the day.

Part of the Goodwin issue is Dalton. Pelinka probably didn’t want to salary dump him because it would be an indictment on him drafting him and cutting him loose after season 1. If he did could have kept Goodwin.

Magic head coach Jamahl Mosley is essentially coaching for his job tonight in a Play-In elimination game. If Orlando loses at home to the Hornets and misses the playoffs, Mosley is expected to be fired this weekend.

@NBAGeneralist_ This FA class is very deep with guards, but there aren’t very many big 3D wings and the C options all have questions regarding their ability to be a full time starting C for a championship team. There are lots of G options, get Wiggins, trade for a legit starting C.

i might be alone on this but this FA class is actually really good, it just isn’t ‘star talent good’ it’s improve your depth good along with a strong RFA class. Lakers just need to hit on two players who improve our depth and a starting centre that’s all

@WooLynn2106752 @SleeperLakers @Lakers @NBA I’m hoping that how they shutdown the Rockets offense by forcing the ball out of KD’s hands keeps working. Will come to coaching like you said without Luka and AR.

@pelinkaburner Just looking at the deal in a vacuum and that is not good value for OKC. If they were moving Dort and the 18th together, I think they could do better.

Wonder if OKC would entertain Dort + 18th pick for a 2031 FRP from us No chance they'll use both FRPs this draft, they can get IHart probably by offloading Dort and take zero salary back Lakers can either use 18/25 to trade, move up, take two legit pieces(Carr + Morez)

@bstonercpa @pelinkaburner I like the vision, except I do not want Rui back at any cost. He’s too much of a negative on defense and Luka/AR need defensive guys around them. Having Ayton as a backup would be great, but I think Cavs ask for him if they unload Allen.

That is something I have thought about, but I still like keeping Ayton as the third guy at the 5, in case of injury and foul trouble. The need for 3 decent centers with our lineup makes it something to consider. How many times this year did we actually have only one viable center and Timme or Rui? I think if we make trades with capspace (maybe 22m if we resign Bron first at $25m), use $10.6m to sign Ayo or Keon if possible as FA, trade Vando & Dalton with 2 FRP & the remaining capspace (before the FA signing)of $11.4m to get Allen. Then we can use the room exception to resign Smart (or if he is happy with his PO or his non-bird max) use that to sign another wing. By using the room we can spend all the way up to 2nd apron (we are hardcapped there.) We have Allen, Ayton, Smart, Ayo or Keon, resign Hayes at his caphold, Kennard at nonbird max after renouncing birdrights, Rui at $12m after renouncing him, resign Austin (his caphold only $20.9m, after PO opt out $35m (5yr $205m I think), Draft an athletic wing. We come in at around $211.7m, 10.3m under 2nd apron, can still waive Smith if needed to sign a deal after buyout season starts. I think this team could really make a deep playoff run if healthy & give Bron his last run like Jordan had. What do you think?

@bstonercpa @pelinkaburner Allen is costly, but he is a starting C for championship contender. I’m hoping Ayton opts in and we can ship Ayton to Cavs to be their backup C at a lower cost.

@LABlitz44 @pelinkaburner I still think trading for Jarett Allen is the best way to fix the center rotation. Allen, Ayton & Hayes would be a good round robin trio in case of injury and foul trouble. But starting Ayton, Robinson off bench and Hayes cleaning up might work pretty well also.

@ShamsCharania In addition to the games played eligibility rule, they should add a minutes played rule. As long as you play more than 65 games or more than 2,000 minutes, you are eligible.

@deadboylyfee If Magic want us to help them with their salary cap issue, they need to send us draft compensation. I wouldn’t absorb any large role player salaries without draft compensation. Only a few teams have cap space, so it has to be treated like a commodity.
