Great fun to run in the LABeachrun at the #LAB14 conference. At most conferences we just sit a lot and eat too much. Excellent idea to add some fitness in the mix with a 2 km run on the beach. The Dutch seaside is such a beautiful place for it. @LABsymposiumorg

Eddy Smid just opened the 14th International Symposium on Lactic acid bacteria. It is great to be back in Egmond and we are looking forward to an excellent program and lots of interactions between the more than 350 participants.
