@Fireblade_Jim Because of the supply chain, a lot of it comes through Hormuz, and there's fewer diesel refineries now thanks to net zero bollocks.

WHY THE FUCK IS DIESEL 25-30p DEARER THAN PETROL! Absolutely fucking ridiculous. I Remember when diesel was cheaper and everyone started buying diesel instead. Suddenly it became dearer than petrol, funny that isn’t it. Government and fuel suppliers are cunts!

@Paul_Heron_ @AaronBastani He's right, unfortunately. I think now we can all agree that Churchill was a bit of a cunt. But we needed a cunt to defeat an even bigger cunt.

As a developer, have you ever wondered: You type a 16‑digit card number and the form instantly says “Invalid card number”. There are billions of possible numbers. How the hell is that check that fast?

@LEGS223 @realhansard We have no strategic reason to deploy an aircraft carrier The only way it could possibly make any sense is if deploying one makes trump happier

@TheNathanNS @GBPolitcs @Telegraph Percentage is a bogus metric. In absolute numbers it's outrageous. The pensioners of today never saw such a needy class of working age people. There's no incentive to work in this country anymore and that needs fixing before we make life difficult for pensioners.

@GBPolitcs @Telegraph Casual reminder that pensioners make up 49% of all welfare spending at £163 BILLION, disability is 11% If you're gonna get mad at welfare claimants, make sure it's the right lot 👍

True, but you’re referring to collateral damage from the war which frankly has impacted the whole globe - not just Europe. Countries like India and Pakistan are looking at a GDP decline of upto 1.5 %. However, can any of these countries be seen as losing given that they’re not directly participating in the war?

@ChrisRolfe16 @MarkKav15119614 @Goosey30111568 As I've said I don't want us to get involved but vast swathes of industry are reliant on the straight being open. So we might have to be, at least to secure the shipping. That's not offensive or beyond the realms of reasonable action.

@JCheruvathoor @AaronBastani It's a collapse of a global supply chain, petrochemicals, fertilisers, plastics, etc. There's over 1000 ships trapped in the Persian gulf, thousands more cannot enter. They're all European owned or relied upon by European industry to some extent.

@hippyygoat Bombing their offensive capabilities is defending our interests, considering our ships are stranded in the Persian gulf right now at risk of being targeted.

Dress it how you like, Keir Starmer.. B-52 bombers leaving the UK for Iran are not on a defensive mission. Their purpose is to blow the crap out of Iran.

@ChrisRolfe16 @MarkKav15119614 @Goosey30111568 Yeh. Iran are still sending their own ships through the straight (and a select few other countries ships), we tell them if they attack our ships then we'll attack theirs.
