LEVER, with Multnomah County Library and Noll & Tam Architects, renovated and expanded Portland’s Albina and North Portland Carnegie libraries. Albina restores the 1912 building with a new addition and community spaces, while North Portland introduces the Black Cultural Center

By integrating sustainable methods and materials, both projects exemplify the transformative impact design and construction have on the built world. • Located in the heart of downtown Los Angeles, the @LEVERARC-designed 843 N Spring Street is one of the first and largest cross-laminated timber office buildings in the city. An adaptive reuse project, Shawmut performed major structural upgrades to support the new five-story building on top of an existing parking structure. • At the center of Queens, NY, the St. Vincent Health Sciences Center is the new cutting-edge education and training facility for St. John’s University’s healthcare program.
