Staying in the presidency is a way to stay out of jail. A sitting president cannot be arrested or put on trial. By keeping that job and ignoring the rules about how long a president can stay in power, the evidence in those files stays locked away. The people running the justice system work for the person in the files, so they have no reason to release the truth. ​Most people have given up because the situation feels too big to change. This apathy is exactly what the system wants. It allows the worst crimes imaginable to happen as long as the person has enough money to buy silence. We have to stop waiting for the government to save us. They are the ones hiding the evidence. If you wait for the people who broke the system to fix it, you are going to be waiting forever. The only way forward is to stop being distracted by the noise and realize that the system is designed to protect itself, not the victims.
