Efficiency creates separation. Every movement has a purpose. The more wasted movement a receiver has, the more time the cover defender has to recover, react, and stay attached. Elite separators are efficient from the ground up. 1. Stance & Start - Everything begins here. A bad stance creates wasted movement immediately. We need to get into our vertical stem right now. Exploding off the ball maintaining a low pad level. 2. Hip Drop - Hip drop is about controlled deceleration. The best route runners can go from full speed to sudden stop without drifting or rising. 3. Hip Shifts - Hip shifts manipulate leverage. Great receivers don’t just run routes. They move defenders side to side creating lateral space. 4. Pressure Steps - Attack a cover defender head on and win laterally with one step. Great receivers direct their force where they want to go pushing off the instep of the foot all while maintaining a low pad level. We must do this all without breaking down, dropping our hips, or losing speed. These are the four foundational movements that create elite separators. Master these four.

🚨🚨TODAY WE REMEMBER🚨🚨 Former Ohio State superstar quarterback Dwayne Haskins would have turned 29 years old today. Haskins was tragically killed, and the world lost a great person and player. Dwayne was only 24 years old. GONE BUT NEVER FORGOTTEN ❤️🕊️

Luke Falk shared a Mike Leach story that stopped me cold: Two kids. One rich. One poor. Every training camp, Coach Leach told his team about these 2 kids. The rich kid has two choices. Get soft. Get entitled. Expect everything handed to him because he was handed more. Or take the resources, the coaching, the opportunities, and compound them into something greater. The poor kid has two choices too. Say nobody gave him anything. Blame the world. Make his circumstances the reason he never became what he could have been. Or outwork everyone in the room. Luke said the locker room had both. Kids from wealth. Kids from nothing. Kids with every advantage. Kids who scraped for every inch. Same choice for all of them. Ownership or victimhood. Fuel or excuse. The rich kid can waste the head start or build on it. The poor kid can drown in the deficit or weaponize it. Greatness doesn't come from where you start. It comes from which kid you choose to feed. Credit to @coachlukefalk for continuing to share golden nuggets about Coach’s legacy

If you know me, you know I love the game! I love the game to the point where I have to give it back. A lot of folks want to teach these kids goofy shit and things that won’t work in the game.I’m going to criticize and critique you until we understand how to break the defender down! I’m here to make or break you! S/o @drobalwayzopen , @the_antoine_wesley , and @coachwvde . We are building something special right here in DFW. If you truly care about taking the next step, you know who to call. By the way, if you can’t take coaching, you won’t make it over here! Let’s get it.

Major Burns came away with a late INT in this first half for the @UFLGamblers, but it was called back due to DPI... ...ball was 10 yards over the receivers head, wasn't catchable. Not a fan of this call. #UFL
