Personally I wouldn’t be boasting of JD Vance being ‘my friend’ if I were a Labour politician.

Great to catch up with my friend @JDVance today in DC following his talks in Pakistan. It is vital that the ceasefire continues and we get shipping flowing freely again through the Straits of Hormuz. We continue to work together towards a just and lasting peace in Ukraine.

@DavidLammy @JDVance Being 'friends' with a man who is responsible for the murder of 160 Iranian school children speaks volumes about Lanmy. Although its important to remember that both are responsible for the murder of over 70,000 Palestinians.

The UK's morally debased & cowardly foreign policy. Did David Lammy condemn the US's illegal war on Iran when he met 'his friend' JD Vance? Did he condemn Israel's ongoing illegal war in Lebanon? Of course he did not & would not dare.

A perfect image of the Trump era: A grandmother has to work at DoorDash in order to get by, while the president decorates his office in gold accent pieces.

@DavidLammy Lammy claimed the 2011 Tottenham uprising was caused by parents not being able to physically abuse their children. Incorrect. The reason people rose up was because a Black man named Mark Duggan was shot, killed and smeared by the police. Lammy is not fit to represent Tottenham.

We get it, Labour is desperate to salvage their local electoral prospects. But this approach is wrong, discriminatory and dangerous. As we've explained repeatedly and proven in numerous court cases now: "coconut" is anti-colonial language. Stop criminalising us and our lexicon.
