@Route2FI I think $1-2m would be a great goal this cycle, and then it would be more fun and not stressful to trade because you need it.

Always an interesting question to ponder. What are your goals for this cycle? Initially, my goal with investing was to cover all my living expenses so that I could travel, read, write, exercise, and have some money left over to invest without having a boss tell me what to do every day. Nothing fancy really. However, as time passed and I had "enough" per se after the last cycle, the goal became more and more about doing this because it fits into IKIGAI. I still find myself here everyday because it becomes a lifestyle. I used to ponder why big whales like GCR just didn't quit after making eg. $100m, but the real answer is that if you're the best in the game, why would you quit doing it? Yes, GCR could enjoy unlimited free time and vacations. But he already does this and I am sure he has plenty of time off already. At this point I am pretty sure he just enjoys perfecting his work. GCR has access to all resources he wants, why would he quit playing a game he is nr. 1 at? For myself, the plan was to quit after this cycle. But now I am not sure anymore. I spend 12+ hours daily in here already, and can't see myself suddenly doing a full stop. This is what I am good at (obviously way, way behind GCR and many other OGs), so I am thinking that as long as I enjoy it, then why not keep doing it. I was telling myself that I would cut the internet cable once I made $1m in 2021. I didn't, and at this point, it's not about making the sickest gains (obviously I don't mind it), but this is a game that is mentally stimulating and very competitive too.
