I saw this immaculately dressed dude on the street & had to stop him to talk tailoring. Shacket is from WWChan in H Lesser cloth (now owned by @Harrisons1863 ), pants are wool/linen from @Drapers 3 Kings book, and @carminashoemake split toe derbies. What a guy.

@urban_comp @dieworkwear Have a hard time believing that unbuttoned cabana shirts and western shirts are the only ‘fine’ options. If anything he was wearing was within two sizes of the correct size, he’d look perfectly normal.

@LetsAskAndy @dieworkwear What makes the look bad is not the pants, but rather the corporate shirt, closed to nearly the top, sleeve buttons fastened. Swap that for a short sleeve cabana shirt, off white rayon western shirt with the sleeves rolled up, unbuttoned a bit more, and it’d be fine

@urban_comp @dieworkwear Which is why I think the current vogue for baggy clothes will look nearly as silly as the super skinny stuff when the current mode passes.

@urban_comp @dieworkwear But what makes it look bad is the bagginess. I don’t believe anyone’s aesthetic sense is offended by a guy wearing… pants and a shirt. The problem is that Bezos’s pants and shirt look frumpy.
