We need to throttle this so immigrants must be immersed in the dominant culture rather than existing in pockets of their own. I believe Americans ARE the best overall but either way we also absolutely do want DEI for Americans. Doing otherwise is like wanting your competitor to win instead of wanting to harry them and make them fail long enough for you to become the better player. To that end we should make wages paid to immigrants or money paid for foreign services 100% taxable. We exempt for profit ventures from taxation because it benefits the economy, if the churn is paying out elsewhere then it doesn't benefit OUR economy and population. Meritocracy and immigration are only good to the extent they benefit our existing population. This is team America not team globe and if your loyalty is otherwise then team America should destroy rather than continue to embrace you. Of course, the idea is eventually have our principles of individual freedom and meritocracy dominate the globe and eventually end up with the US being the global government but that needs to be a gradual process in which the joining states have a weak position and have weakened political or economic power until they've assimilated.

Common sense. A simple test for immigrants is: would you enjoy working them. If so, they would be an asset to America.

Benefiting America doesn't matter if you don't benefit Americans. That's the reason for global trade, competition, etc, to benefit the people who are here. If you do something with a net benefit to the nation but negative benefit to the existing population it defeats the entire point.
