@LexMosco During my ND days, that's like 2018. I remembered what 2k can do in the life of a student. Then, the price of things are normal, I can't say cheap. That 2k will buy full foodstuffs needed for a student. The 2k now can't buy one Congo of rice

I grow up seeing my Dad talk to people about God,now I find same reason to preach the bible. I still regret why I waste so much of my youthful days not serving God.

@Wizarab10 @Innosaint04 Do you know that now I see what will improve my career or advanced my social lifestyle,but I can't attempt it, because the money is so high. I always risk everything giving my kids the best they deserve, gradually my time is fading,but I need my kids to be at there best.

When I was in 200l, my phone was stolen. I had the option of saving from my pocket money to buy a good phone but I rejected it. I used torchlight phone for a year. My friends who had less pocket money than me saved to buy good phone and wore new clothes. Blackberry was reigning so it made sense to want to jump on it. My priority was my food. I wasn't going to alter my feeding for phone. I went to the main market on weekend and did proper shopping to cook. Ironically, I was feeding the people using their money to buy phone and clothes. Buying phone meant they had to hold their stomach. My point is, everyone has what matters to them. Your money will go where your priority is.

@hannytomi I did that to myself,now I'm seeing purpose to serve God more with my family.

The older I get, the more I understand people that just disappear and start a new life.

One thing I discovered about this generation is that as a man,much is expected from you,but the system of making money is not encouraging. Don't allow anyone push you to evil,do your best and leave the rest for God. Our father's take full responsibility, because things are okay.

Our first home in Canada, we both used our income, but the share was 98/2. Means he own 98 while I take 2, I didn't even care. It's our home, we all are living in it, paying the bills together, so, why fuss... most of the renovations done in that particular rancher was on my income because we were saving 80% of my income as we have tenant in the basement that covers over 50% of the mortgage payment, this was 2015. When we flipped the mortgage, I was the one who handled it all, and he literally didn't know what was in the paperwork, but I told the lawyer, make it 98/02 for us. We later refinanced and we both agreed to make it 50/50. Honestly, I have a concern when a woman reacts after discovering that homes aren't in their name. A lady told her husband, what if you die? The man said, so you're waiting for me to die? He proposed to put it in their kids name, she refused. I know we all have different school of thoughts around this, but, material poverty is really bad. To me, it doesnt really matters. No one gets married to see it fall apart. A client of mine told me today, her husband built the house they were living in, very beautiful house, but the man is dead. Even if it was in his name, she still the owner. Sisters please rest your mind, especially with Caucasian, they understand family more. Sad 😔 😟 🙁
