I couldn’t agree more! I think that confusion has caused a lot of our current issues. I’ve noticed lacking these distinctions has made it easier for the sophists to take advantage of situations to steer movements into a central planning. Too many end up falling for the Hegelian dialectic, which ends up pitting people against each other when they often have more in common than they realize. And conservative / classically liberal principles end up becoming the main casualty 🙈

I would like to take this moment and be generous… As you’ve mention you are independently conservative. I think we also take a money to separate Democrats from Liberals… I know many people in real life who identify as Democrat, but aren’t these things. They can articulate points and have respectful discourse. I also know people who say they’re liberal and will degrade anyone, and play into the more extreme case we’ve identified above. I sadly think the extreme case gets more attention, they insult the most and cry the most and have to be heard by everyone. As a Republican. I respectfully would like to make this a distinction. I’ve found to common for people to use liberal and democrat as one and the same.

More people have been arrested for low level marijuana possession this year than people listed in the Epstein files.

I feel like (my uneducated opinion) the people wanting more tax are the ones who don’t have a job and aren’t really paying taxes anyways, they’re the ones on SNAP and welfare collecting checks from our taxes. They want more without having to do anything. It’s a system of enabling and not accountability. What would happen if our taxes no longer went to support those things? They’d first throw a fit. But then would have to (eventually) get a job or figure something out. But there’s no incentive for that currently. They can live on welfare checks funded by us. And there’s a whole side wanting to tax people who have worked hard and gained wealth because their entitlement says some of it is theirs. No matter what excuse they give for taxing the super wealthy… it’s motivated by selfish desire and what they will get out of it.

There are unalienable rights that are given by God, those that you mentioned. Can’t change. Then the Constitution which outlines our rights. Which those then can be amended or changed. As we’ve seen with amendments to the Constitution. But these rights can’t infringe on, and usually support, our unalienable rights.

Haha that’s not exactly what i meant. He was comparing the number of people arrested for low level marijuana charges to people arrested/charged in connection with Epstein. I was more meaning compare the number of illegal immigrants that have been deported this year to arrests for low level marijuana. I bet marijuana still wins. Which is crazy…. There’s just a drastic biological difference in men and women athletically. The boys high school track records in the state of Georgia, one of the powerhouse track states in America, beat women’s Olympic track records. HIGH SCHOOL BOYS beat Olympic women. This is why, to me, it’s such a big deal. Men who suddenly want to be a women go into these women sports and have an insane advantage, just from being a man.

I think this is more because we live in a society where people try and marginalize themselves over any little difference to gain sympathy and/or power. And the baseline they are all comparing themselves to is a white male. So yes, your statement is true if women had equal rights they’d have more equality than men, but solely because they’d still get some sort of “sympathy” for being a women. So they’d have extra. Any reason someone would call you an “ist” is basically for not bowing down to whatever way they’re trying to marginalize themselves and holding them in higher regard.
