@RooshWilliams Yessir. I think Stone is most to blame above all else and I will die on that hill. He knew his players and he knew his coach and his lack of creativity on offense and preferred “read & react” offense but decided not to give his coach the personnel to carry that offense out.

The Rockets spent the MLE on Dorian Finney-Smith, but he’s been such pure, unadulterated ass this season that he can’t even be trusted to play when they’re in full desperation mode. The Rockets saw this and stood pat at the trade deadline and decided to do nothing.

@BiasedHouston Also the GM should not get a pass either. He knew Udoka liked to run ISO ball he should’ve went out and got the personnel for his coach. He did nothing at deadline and it lead to Houston becoming a laughingstock.

Ime Udoka has retreated back into his comfort zone of "defense above all else" starting Okogie and limiting Reed's role again.
Durant/Şengün/Reed were +10 in four minutes together and we didn't see it again the rest of the game because the Rockets can't have two "defensive liabilities" out there.
Meanwhile, JJ Redick's defense is thriving featuring Kennard/Hachimura, two "defensive liabilities".

Kevin Durant is the best scorer on the floor in this series and the Rockets are willingly sidelining him by letting him initiate the offense. What's even crazier is we saw how much better the offense looked at the end of the regular season when KD was playing more off-ball.

People really think that I'm asking the Rockets to blitz LeBron over this? Lmao It's the fact that the Rockets offensive approach is to just succumb to the Durant double-teams, meanwhile LeBron gets to do whatever he wants.

Reed Sheppard is a liability defensively, but we’re not stopping the Lakers offense AND we are incapable of scoring because the Lakers aren’t guarding anyone on our team. Put in the one guy the who the Lakers have to guard on the 3PT line so we can have some semblance of offense.

@BiasedHouston Honest take do you think they will win tonight? Of course on paper they should win regardless of if KD plays or not but the regular season has shown us they have the ability to consistently lose games they “should” win.
