We are thrilled to announce we've received a 2023 HumanitiesDC Community Culture&Heritage Grant! This grant supports our student programming by providing 5th-graders with the unit “The Beat of DC” – an up-close look at the history of Go-go music and its influence. #humanitiesDC

Walking the Walk: 5-graders from @paynedcps followed the route of 250,000 activists during the 1963 March on Washington for Jobs and Freedom. Experiential learning brings history to life! @dcpublicschools

Of COURSE the @turnerrocketsdc were soaking it all in at the @airandspace as they learned about planets, satellites, and all things outer space! @dcpspartners

After our trip to @NMNH, a @BurroughsES student told us: "I loved this trip so much. I just learn better outside of school. And now I want to start a rock collection!" Music to our ears🎵
