@altontowers due to travel to resort today. no updates from you whilst other event providers are issuing cancellations and letting people know if it’s business at usual - also made it impossible to get in touch with you to see if we can change booking due to do not travel warning

@GarethMeadows I have that nagging voice too and it’s loudest when I’m struggling to carve out time for my writing. It’s tells me not to bother wasting precious time on something which will never get anywhere. Got to tell ourselves to ignore it though! The stories we need to tell are louder! 💗

2023 seemed plagued with personal & professional setbacks. I had some highs, for sure, but I lost my job of 27yrs, moved from the home where I raised my kids & briefly almost wound up homeless. Add some health issues for those closest to me & a couple of stupidly sustained… 1/4

@shurlookit101 @Kit_Yates_Maths Initially we shielded as daughter was cev due to bronchiectasis. Have done our absolute best to avoid infection. Since the 1st time she had it in Oct 2021 she’s been having very high fevers with every infection she catches. I have no doubt it’s affected her immune system :(

But this really is the exit wave now right? Right?

@shurlookit101 @Kit_Yates_Maths We have 3 kids. They have caught it in school and then passed it on at home. They can’t wear masks or distance there. When we are aware someone has it at home we mask and use an air purifier, ventilate, distance etc
