I was in the elevator with a Sonora fan who was gloating to a pair Rio Hondo Prep ladies about how Sonora is less than 1,000 kids, doesn't recruit. I told him RHP is 150 total, 82 boys. He didn't know what to say. It was gold. He didn't like the truth. The ladies laughed.

After attending the Dodgers game, my kids asked me why we are still Angels fans. According to them, “Dodgers games are more entertaining , better stadium, more exciting”. I hate to agree with them, but it’s true.

I have parents telling me that their 11u “travel team “ had a 100+ game schedule! Think of the amount of innings that need to be pitched ! Is anyone asking these “ coaches “ what the benefit of 100 games is for an 11 yr old ? This is insane! We wonder why there is a TJ problem in the sport! Velo companies promoting VELOCITY, rankings that start at 8u ! Brutal ! Burnout and arm injuries scattered everywhere!
