I will absolutely treasure the voice memo and messages where she tells me she loves me, as much as I love her. My heart is absolutely broken.

Through her account, Tammy gave voice to the forgotten, the abandoned, the sick, and the overlooked cats that many others would have passed by. She saw hope where others saw none. With humor, honesty, fierce determination, and endless compassion, she built a community that celebrated second chances and mourned losses together. Every rescue, every update, every small victory reflected the depth of her love for animals and her belief that every life mattered. At the center of Tammy’s world was her soul cat, Tweetybird. Their bond was the kind that transcends words—a partnership built on trust, comfort, and unconditional love. Tweety was more than a companion; Tweety was family, a source of strength, and a constant reminder of why Tammy devoted so much of herself to helping cats in need. Those who followed catswithnohope knew Tammy not only through the cats she saved but through the kindness she shared. She taught people that hope is not something you find—it is something you create through action, perseverance, and love. Her work inspired countless others to rescue, foster, donate, and care. Though her voice has fallen silent, her legacy remains in every cat she helped, every person she inspired, and every life she touched. The community she built stands as a testament to the difference one determined person can make. We take comfort in imagining Tammy reunited with all those she loved so dearly, with Tweety never far from her side. Rest peacefully, Tammy. The cats you saved, the people you inspired, and the love you gave so freely will never be forgotten. Our heart and thoughts are with Nour as he navigates life without Tammy. We’d ask for all donations to be halted for now (due to the legalities) but above all we ask to light a light for Tammy and send all your love into the world for that beautiful soul and for her husband remaining. @bytzxx_ Aww! So cute!! Yeah this is the time of year that we have baby deer and since they don’t give off any scent, they are perfectly fine curled up somewhere. Their mom knows where they left them and will come back right to that spot! ❤️☺️

the baby dear from this morning was curled up at my back door when i was leaving for work. I didnt touch it. deer are constantly in my yard so im sure this little ones mommy will be back for it soon. (trust me i really did want to pet it, but i know better. and yes i know its called a fawn)

Today's labs are worse. The blood infection (Acinetobacter) has crashed her kidneys further & her blood is becoming dangerously acidic. Morally/emotionally I haven't been ok to update anyone. She’s in multi-organ failure and fighting hard, but the situation is very critical

‼️ Tammy update 18 May ‼️ Nour has been provide a report with a lot of jargon so ai has helped once again.m In addition to the below, Nour has not been able to see her since yesterday as Tammy has a blood clot in her leg that can break easily and travel to her lungs. If anyone touch her improperly, it may risk breaking the blood clot. Her situation remain critical In plain language: This report says the patient went through a very serious, potentially fatal medical crisis. At some point, she had a major heart-related emergency, and during that event her body wasn’t getting enough oxygen. That means her organs and tissues were essentially being “starved” of oxygen for a period of time. Because of this, her body chemistry became dangerously unbalanced. The report calls this “mixed metabolic and respiratory acidosis,” which basically means too much acid built up in her body because her lungs and body systems weren’t able to clear it properly. This is a sign the body was under extreme stress and not functioning normally. The worst period was in the early morning, right after this emergency happened. That was when her condition was most critical and life-threatening. After that, doctors kept her on constant intensive care treatment (close monitoring, medications, breathing/circulatory support, and other ICU-level interventions). The good news in the report is that the repeated blood tests over the next 24 hours show gradual improvement: Her oxygen levels and body chemistry were starting to move closer to normal. Her body was responding to treatment. She was stabilizing, even though she was still in serious condition. So the overall message is: She was in real danger after a severe cardiac event, but over that 24-hour period the medical team managed to pull her from the worst point. @catswithnohope

@jennyah46 She remains critically ill. The machines are keeping her alive at present. Am waiting for a more detailed update from Nour and will share as soon as I know more but whilst her heart continues to beat, we will keep hoping for a miracle. It’s not over till the last breath.

‼️Tammy update ‼️ Tanmy remains the same but the the infection (sepsis) is improving today but still have organ failure. Nour is waiting to speak to the doctor to get further insight into the situation and I will update as soon as I know more.

I have found some incredible people in this community. I tried bluesky but didn’t enjoy it. Here is where I would read the updates on Minnie. Where @Biscuit_Meow welcomed Minnie with a special kitty loaf monday. Where I saw the incredible work of @catswithnohope. Where Henry found a surrogate mum in @MakarMargaret and where so so many of you helped pay for Henry’s emergency CT scan, Meggy’s life prolonging surgery (that gave us 3 more months with her) and Dayan’s emergency dental surgery. I have found such love, such friendship and virtual shoulders to cry on in loss. From @Hedgewatchers dedicating pawtrols to those we lost and everything in between.
